What's New in Version 3.8.3
Hi! It's your friendly neighborhood Postmates app again! True story: we have an iOS engineer named Peter Park(er). We give him grief all the time and call him ... Peter.
Anyway, here's what's new: Bug. Fixes. I'm serious this time! We fixed at least 3 crashes with this release, each affecting about 20 (what we imagine to be by now) VERY hungry people. Now we have 20 more people who can once again feed themselves. Great success.
So, you know how we give you delivery credits whenever you invite friends? And you know how as a Plus Unlimited member, we nag you to make sure you order at least $25 worth of stuff to get free delivery? Well, we used to nag you about it even when you had delivery credits, so your delivery was already free! So that makes no sense. There's no such thing as free-er than free. There's no such thing as the "ice cold!" of free. It's already free, nada, nothing, zilch. I mean honestly, unless we're going to make your Postmate pay you when you get a delivery, free is where it stops. So we don't nag you anymore. It just makes sense.
Per usual, we fixed at least 4 other things in the past few days that aren't worth mentioning here. Because we can.
Shoutout to Bunny Doo-Wop's awesome App Store review last time with her McDonald's double cheeseburger order. Hold your head up high Bunny. We don't judge. Every Postmates delivery is classy. Especially the McDonald's ones.
And finally, your moment of Zen, good for free delivery for the first 100 customers: ICECOLD
Antisocial persons dream
Postmates is my godsend! At lunch time instead of dealing with other people (gross) I can just hide in my cubicle and get delicious food that doesn't have a delivery service delivered to me! It's fantastic, easy to use, and a great user interface. Postmates, if you can figure out how to deliver me animal fries and wine to work, that'll just make my life so much more magical. Seriously though, I'd pay a ridiculous amount of money to not have to deal with the cheery people at in-and-out. Why are you always so cheery Adam? I just want my fries! Stop trying to make conversation with me! Your gigantic safety pin is weirdly, but understandably, freaking me out. Anyways, use postmates. It's a great app. 🦄
They're always updating the app to be more efficient and the variety of restaurants on the plus program is great, cause I can't pick anything easily. The line up is simple and I choose which is the fastest, which can sometimes take only 40 min.
Also haven't had an issue with getting a courier to pick up my order, so that's nice. It's pretty straight forward to use and I treat it like magic. I can stay home and marathon Mr. Robot and get fed hot food? Yes. SF was a cesspit before Postmates and Lyft.
Now it's worth living here!
Order by Chili's & grill
So My delivery man was name Ryan he couldn't have been sweeter he was African-American and so kind shows up in about 20 minutes which was shocking and I am very happy my dinner was lovely and amazing tasted good thank you and I will definitely be ordering from you again! door dash is what I sometimes order from but they don't do Chili's so I will definitely be ordering from post mates when I'm in the mood for Chili's or Rubio's I've never had anything but a nice time experience and I do appreciate it!
