Customer Reviews

Where Do I Start?

I've had many problems with postmates but I'm keeping it short tonight. On Monday it's "We were unable to process your card." despite the fact that it's the same card I've used before and I just deposited money. On Tuesday it's "error" followed by "Someone's been abusing your account please verify with things we didn't need from you when you were creating your account but now we need," on Wednesday it's "no postmates in the area" in the middle of lunch. Blitz pricing (1.5x delivery fee) for two hours straight? The only thing keeping me from UberEATS is that none of their merchants is open right now. A $20 delivery fee might be a great incentive for drivers, but at 2am, it's not that great for spenders. I could spend $30 on a $6 meal or I could go to bed and get breakfast tomorrow when the taco place by my apartment is open.
These people are extremely unhelpful. Either they don't respond to your contact support requests or they respond with an unrelated automated message and then refuse to respond!to your issue.

Misleading, waste of time

Why would you display all these stores and restaurants that can "deliver from anywhere" only to tell me "delivery is not available in this area" after I go through all the trouble of choosing the items I want, going through checkout, adding my card, address, and full contact info? I had my delivery address set from the very beginning, before I even browsed, so why make me go through all the trouble of that entire process if you can't deliver to me? It's a blatant lie to your customers and a waste of their time. DoorDash, Grubhub, Eat24, and many more professional delivery apps would never do that. You wonder why they're so much more successful? Maybe learn something from them.

Good app...could be great

I order quite a bit from postmates in the last 4 months I have spent quite a lot worth of orders...I have only filed a complaint on one order that was stale...in my complaint I acknowledged that typically the food is great but that particular order was bad...there was no offer to replace the order or credit towards a future order...the only response I got was that they will "make note of the issue and if they get multiple complaints about this vendor they will drop them"...I do not think that was sufficient conflict resolution for a customer who spends so much with you guys...
