High tech computer crime and corporate espionage on the Internet of the future.
Now remastered for the iPad, Uplink plays brilliantly on the mobile format. The touch screen interface elegantly replaces the mouse and all of the original tense and paranoid gameplay is bought straight up to date with this new portable version. Stay mobile, trust nobody, don't get caught.
You're an Uplink Agent - a freelance computer hacker who makes a living by performing jobs for major corporations. Break into classified computer systems, steal research data, sabotage software, change academic and criminal records, even frame innocent people. Just be sure to cover your tracks, and remember that trust is a weakness.

Fixed bug: story missions not starting
An old Favorite and a nice welcome to the iOS!
On PC, this game was a great hacker simulator and a great challenge offering a hours of fun time, thanks to it's nice missions and challenges as well as the need to keep the missions going to upgrade your gateway every now and then to step up to the bigger challenges.
On iOS, the game is almost identical to it's PC counterpart. with the mouse replaced by the touch screen controls which offers a faster interaction to the game's objects. Routing your connection through multiple point to delay your back-trace is is faster and you can quickly disconnect if you are too close to getting busted!
One thing I wish was added was the add-ons. on PC, this game had a great support from community, brining amazing additions to the game. From Insane level of Gateways that you need to work so hard to afford its 100+ CPU slots to the Extra sort of DLC (the FBI was by far my favorite)
Overall, a great game to enjoy and a nice addition to the iOS gaming library!
This game captures both the style and the feel of living in an 80's hacker movie. Having played the demo on PC, I knew this would be good for bite-sized play sessions. The minimalist graphics and extensive use of text evoke the separation of someone whose only connection to the rest of the world is a computer screen. At first thrilling, due to the tight mission timing, and later haunting, as I found myself adrift in a digital sea, this game is one of a kind. Anyone who enjoys racing against the clock, assembling an arsenal of tools, and the thrill of an illicit job well done will enjoy this game.
What you know.
A lot of people will say the game is bugged because I keep getting caught. Or someone says that they can't get a job because of their record. Online, there are a lot of tips and guides that help you out. Like for the criminal records. Just hack the crime data base and take away you record. If you have knowledge of the game, it will be a dream come true.
