A subconscious addiction
flow free is all based around how the other lines fit together. you have to make the line but still consciously be aware that other lines have to be there and have the same area to take up space. it's strategic in that you have to think about where the current line is going. you have to see the answer to the board before you start. my advice is to people is to start with the simplest or most basic path: the dots that are closest together (1 to 2 blocks or an immediate right angle) obviously connect first because it couldn't possibly go anywhere else without disrupting the other lines. Now, if there are two correlating color dots both connecting to the outside of the board you can connect them easily simply by following along the outside square perimeter of the board. this way, the more complicated lines (or flows as I should be calling it but I don't want to go back and edit every time i said "lines") are much easier to see and can be left last.
Close to perfect
I love this game. I've spent more hours than I care to admit playing this game. I even bought all the levels and all of the colors for the game. While I greatly enjoy the game, it could use a few improvements:
A permanent undo button - right now, you only get the option to undo your last move if you erase part of a previous line by moving through it. For people out to get perfect scores on each level, the lack of a permanent undo button means you have to reset the level each time you make a mistake in line placement. It gets frustrating fast.
More free play levels - having the timed play option is nice for when you finish all the free play levels however it can make the game more stressful when you know you have a timer winding down. Why not make it so the community can create and share free play levels? I know something like this would definitely keep me more interested in the game once I finish the last few packs I have to get through than the timed play alone.
Alternate colors - I currently regret my decision to purchase the alternate color packs. As soon as you get more than just a few lines on a grid, there are always colors so close in shade you need to turn the labels on in order to determine which dots go together. There needs to be more differentiation between them.
Overall, this is a really fun game. It's definitely one I would recommend to friends.
Cool Puzzle Game definitely Addictive
This game looks fantastic, some classic Simon Says style colors. The feel or "flow" of the game is smooth, it is addictive so watchout! I don't really see any drawbacks here, there are plenty of free puzzles to keep you busy for quite some time. If you do run out after awhile, packs are available at a fair price, but you can definitely get your game on for awhile. The app will take you a very short amount of time to get used to. I recommend two things to the developer: 1-the sound option is cool, but maybe throw some options in there. 2-give a small box warning about the clues question mark-I pressed it and used a mark without knowing that I was going to use one. Fun game and looks absolutely great, some apps are garbage and this one is reliable!
