Customer Reviews

Great it.

Easy to play, fun. Great mobile game.

I like everything about this game. I do have some ideas that I think would make it even better and more fulfilling.

I would like to see a way to earn stars like points and also be able to use points or net points to buy stars so we could improve are players with the stars using the 100% success rate feature instead of going on just luck and reducing are optimal player card levels in the process if the upgrade fails.

Having a way to earn stars or buy them with points earned would take this game to another level of enjoyment.

Also, it would be cool to be able to earn or get with points legends player cards like Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Cy Young, Nolan Ryan, etc. that would be awesome to have some greats from every decade since baseball first started.

Post season stats and MVP award for playoffs and World Series would also be an improvement. Along with record keeping of records set by what player each year like this player hit 70 hr in 2013 , so this player can try to hit more in 2014, or hit for the record single season avg, etc.

Just a couple ideas from a fan of the game. :)

Plenty of Fun BUT Major Annoyances

There's plenty of fun to be had playing this version of the game. Easy to pick-up, and auto controls work well, giving you pitch selection and placement options. Much less successful is the player v. computer option in a league campaign. Set to "offense only", the computer skews the game against the player in ridiculous ways, such as piling on an absurd number of runs in a single inning to put a win totally out of reach. In this mode, check the opponent's run to hit ratio if you lose. I guarantee you'll find runs equal or far exceed hits pretty much every time you lose, and it's pretty common to give up 4 or 5 walks plus a home run or two in a one-inning slaughter. Auto base running is absolutely terrible -- pretty much suicidally stupid base running that defaults frequently to rally-killing, inning-ending efforts to stretch a two-out single into a double when the ball is being held 2 feet from second base. This seems to be a default command anytime you are batting with two outs. It's a major and apparently deliberate flaw in what would otherwise be a much more enjoyable game.

Really Fun Game

I highly recommend this game! It is fun collecting certain players and putting together your own dream team.

The online market puts an interesting spin on the game. You can use it to sell some players, trade/gift, or you can use it as extra storage. If you are planning on using it for storage then make sure you set the price really high or else someone might buy the player from you!

My user is saxnsail, send me something useful and I'll send you something similar in value or $$. For some reason some of the users show up as vid_********, I am unable to regift items to these users. I just received gifts from one of these users and I feel bad that I cannot reciprocate with a gift.

For those who complain that they can't steal bases, make sure you aren't trying to steal against pitchers who have the ability Set Position. They will catch you every time, it doesn't matter how fast you are!
