Simple Pomodoro timer that stays out of your way and lets you get the work done
- Simple: few buttons, few features and little configuration. All you need for your productivity and nothing more.
- At your fingertips: Tadam lives in the status bar, so it’s always just a click away.
- Out of the way: just glance at the icon to have a sense of how much time is left.
→ Just a minute… ←
You know that feeling when you’re really focused on something, then the timer rings and you just need a minute or two to finish that little thing?
In Tadam, when the time is about to run out, the app icon starts pulsing, so you know you need to hurry up.
You can do nothing and in a few minutes you’ll be prompted to take a break… or you can click on the icon and take a break right away (or give yourself more time)
→ Give me a break! ←
Your brain needs rest to stay focused. That’s why taking regular breaks is essential to Pomodoro.
Tadam makes sure you do.
When the timer rings, a big black window pops out, reminding you to take a break. You can’t ignore it — you can either take a break or choose to work a little more. You can move it — you’re still the boss — but it will snap back in a few seconds. It’s designed to be annoying enough that you will take the breaks you’re supposed to.
What's New in Version 1.2.2
— your Mac won't fall asleep anymore if the timer is running. You can safely walk away from your computer during a break and you'll still hear the "time's up" chime. Especially useful for notebook users.
— Tadam now works great on multi-display setups
— fixed a bug introduced in previous version
— looks better on the Retina display
— other improvements and bug fixes
Stay productive! :)
