Nice story. Nice graphics. Nicely sized for iPhone (boy do I get peeved at games with tiny writing.). Now here's my favorite stuff- you double tap to change screens or open a HO scene. I LOVE this because in some games I'm constantly backing up a screen by accident. The HO scenes were really well crafted and challenging. The bonus play at the end was superb. The hint button that tells you where to go when stuck is just enough help without handing you everything. Never had to access a walk through and I appreciate that.
My only tiny beef is that some of the puzzle instructions didn't make sense to me. I just couldn't figure out what to do. Probably my own dense brain and the skip function solves that problem.
Can't imagine anyone not liking this game. You even have three difficulty levels to choose from. Aces.
Pretty fantastic but a few little bugs
The art is astoundingly crisp as are the video clips, which were lacking in clarity for previous BF games. The plot is interesting and the mini games are a little more challenging, which I love because I know I'm getting my money's worth! I play on my iPhone 4S and some of the problems I've run into are mini games that won't react as it should to my touch commands. For example I had difficulty getting the smaller weights off the scale in the Gardener's house mini game and just now getting the right upper paw to obey my touch command. So some difficulty with the touch interface but otherwise a great and inthralling game. It's a thinking game at its best and very few hidden object mini games, which I love.
Good game with some iPhone flaws
The game story is good, puzzles are hard but not too much so. Fun to play.
On the iPhone the hot spots inside a puzzle are sometimes frustratingly small. For instance I must have dragged gears to a gearbox a hundred times. I checked the walkthru to confirm I was really supposed to put them there. I even reset and started the game over, thinking it had forgotten I picked up one of the gears. But no it's just that the place to drag to is tiny and not obvious so you have to try dragging to every possible spot on the puzzle.
Secondly, I prefer to run games with music off and sound effects low so I don't disturb sleeping family members. There is a way in options to do this. But every time there is a cut scene it gets reset. And the cutscenes don't need sound. They are captioned. Grr. Grr.
