Great game, needs volume control.

It's a great game that is a mix of action side scroller, hack and slash, and tower defense genres. The game is simple enough to understand and gives you new enemies to battle very frequent so you won't be bored with your pray any time soon. Warning, the game does start a bit slow and upgrades will therefore be difficult to achieve before the first 5 to 10 waves. After that point though you will be fine as long as you take advantage of all the cool boosts and power ups offered. Very casual gamers and gamers who don't like to strategize will find some diffculty further on in the game however.

The game runs great on my mac even when I have a mess of programs running in the background. I haven't once met any kind of lag or crash as of now and I beat all 50 waves on both modes. My only issue is there is no way to control the volume. It is also a full screen game so you can't switch between applications or desktops.

Some people are complaining that the game focuses on you having to buy coins and diamonds - that is completely wrong. The beginning of the game is slow and making money or gems will take a while, but it will speed up exceptionally as you go along. It just requires you to play through the game and becoming stronger. You won't even need all the gem purchases to finish the game. Just don't expect the game to hand you a silver platter with all the goodies at the beginning - no game will ever do that for you anyway.

very good game

This game is a lot of fun and very addicting. The controls are simple enough for anyone to just jump right in and not ask for help, but it can get slightly annoying in the later levels. The power ups and warriors that you can get are very creative and are good to make strategic combination, but when playing the game you will encounter enemys that you can not get for both sides and some enemys are over powered even if you can get them in game. As for the game play it is very smooth and sometimes fast paced and almost nothing to complain about there. All the creators have to do is fix a few problems/annoyances for this game to be better, like stop making arrows act like homing missiles I have found myself dying one to many time because of it, add more levels, add more warriors that we can summon, and possibly add a co-op/vs mode so we can play with freinds or strangers.

Addictive and Frustrating (but not necessarily for the expected reasons)

Early on it feels like a breeze, but its difficulty does pickup notably. I am currently hitting a wall in which I need gems to progress, but they don't drop often enough for me to play without paying. I wish there were mini-games or sidequest activities where I could gather gems wihout paying for them. Also, I have noticed that the price for gems seems markedly high compared to other freemium games, especially if you're interested in the booster packs which are very costly. The zombie sister game--which is unlocked early on--is incredibly hard compared to the primary game, and lack the bonus levels which provide ample item drops. I would like to play more, but know that without dropping $20 or more, I probably have no more than a week left of occasional play.
