What's New in Version 3.8.2
I love this app. It has some great shows that not even Netflix has. It has a 10 sec forward button which is genius.
One idea for the next update would be to have tv episodes run one after another when in pic-in-pic mode, instead of closing and having to manually go to the next episode. The other idea would be to be able to rate shows, so the app could show more shows that the user might like.
Sometimes has issues. If anything, I guess the resume button could update. It always just says "play episode 12". Also, it occasionally has issues with turning from portrait to landscape views and is stuck in portrait mode and half the video is cut off. Other than that, sometimes if my reception is bad the video won't buffer or play. But it's not too common. Works well around 80% of the time. I'm certainly not uninstalling and am pleased, over all~
Great app - few things missing
A few things are missing:
The first is a control center widget that shows your playlists and let you select and shuffle playlists easily.
The ability to control music through Siri, even pause, resume or skip a track is a big loss and something which other music apps like pandora support. This may be an apple restriction.
Another thing is the ability to view downloaded music separately, although the no cellular data setting is helpful in this regard.
Lastly when adding music to playlists you can't see which are downloaded and which are not as the downloaded icon is not visible.
Everything else about the app is great.
