Small is beautiful. Those just might be the most fun tiny ships you will ever command!
Play as the commander of "Libra II", the newest state of the technological art space carrier and take revenge on Alien Invaders that took over your home world.
This time you will bring the fight to them and let them taste your power.
Build a variety of crafts, conquer planets and space stations and travel the universe. You will face a single player campaign filled with exciting battles depicted with unique art style. Upgrade your ships and combine them into unstoppable fleets.
Blue Libra 2 introduces multiplayer combat for up to 4 players in skirmish mode. You can play via gamecenter, directly with a bluetooth or over wifi or the internet. (The available multiplayer options may vary depending on your network setup and Operating System version).
Blue Libra II brings improved graphics, more immersive gameplay and extended economy with more decision making. Game features new ships, unique for both races and over 30 single player maps.
Blue Libra 2 uses retina display (if available) for enhanced combat graphics. If retina display is not available, it'll automatically switch to regular display.
Blue Libra 2 is available for handheld devices as well as stationary computers.
If you are having trouble starting the game (you see a black screen with "Loading") try restarting your iPad/iPhone/iPod as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
What's New in Version 1.1
- Fixed display issues of planet capture, production and research in multiplayer game in lagging network.
- Fixed multiplayer desynchronization issue when Host would add AI controlled player before other human players joined the game
- Multiplayer window on small screen devices now appears properly centered.
- Singleplayer balancing changed. Beginner difficulty made easier. Some small changes to maps.
Move Over, Galcon!
This has a lot of depth that Galcon is missing.
I agree with the other reviewers that the graphics are bad when zoomed up close, but I personally don't think this is a game breaker. I received an email from the developer, and got a feeling that this is low on the priority list.
So what should be? I think having GameCenter yet no achievements nor leader board (sometimes leader boards are bogus anyway due to hackers) is wasteful. And there's something gone wrong with the multiplayer window: it's off screen! When there is no one online, and I want to cancel a player request, I have to exit the program, open the app, scroll the window down a bit so I can see the search entry which causes the window to be finally in full view to cancel. Painful! There should be a player count online, before this window, so I don't have to go through this every time and find out no one's online.
A minor thing that has constantly bugged me with game developers in general--please, please keep all game windows consistent! Why do developers have an X in an upper corner to close some windows, have other windows that have an EXIT button at the bottom, and a CANCEL button at the top?
My gripes are minor, but App competition is fierce. I hope Blue Libra 2 remains!
Friend me: Kipsie
Very impressed with this addition. It has a Galcon feel to it with a lot of added depth in game play. Closest game to Sin of a Solar Empire that I have seen come out for an IOS device.
In this game you will:
Command large fleets of a variety of star ships
Manage an economy of minerals to fund the building of ships
Choose what ship to build in order to counter your enemies
Take over space stations, mining rigs, turrets and planets.
Make decisions to upgrade all of the above in game or in a research tree.
The graphics of this game could be improved, they are a little blurry when zoomed in.
Insta-buy! The sequel to the best RTS on iOS
The sequel to my favorite RTS on iOS. It's like Galcon, but with much-need depth. Resource management, skill trees, a multitude of spacecraft, its all in this package. Truly the game I was waiting for! I'm not a shill, I just think these guys should get some credit where credit is due.
Try the free version if you are up in the air, but do try it.
Thanks guys for the sequel to the best RTS, space-themed, war-game on iOS!
