We are in planning mode right now, trying to link the tickets to the bands have been a challenge. Contact customer support and they didn't even have an answer. I'm disappointed that only three fast passes can be loaded per day per park...why have a park hopper ticket if you can't go back and forth! We've been going to Disney for many years and have always been able to get as many fast passes as we could and that were available. Of course after getting one pass you couldn't get another one for a certain amount if time but I know we had more than three a day and at different parks too! It's getting to be all about the money now...what can they take away from the experience and keep raising the prices. Eventually I feel like they will do what universal does and make you pay extra for a fast pass!!
This app was such an asset during our recent visit to WDW. My favorite features were looking up wait times for attractions, quickly seeing what attractions and dining were nearby, and having quick and easy access to our itinerary for fast pass times and dining reservations. I actually got a smartphone before our vacation specifically so I could use this app. (And the fact that I desperately needed a new phone.). Sure, there were occasional glitches, but overall, it was an invaluable resource.
Disney needs to rework its entire magic band and fast pass software and train its employees on how to use it. We had nothing but trouble with our magic bands, my Disney experience app, and customer service (eg, "resolving" our difficulties with our magic bands by issuing us a 2nd set and charging us twice). Also had trouble when my wife's phone battery died and I downloaded the app and was able to set fast pass for myself and my wife but not my daughter even though our magic bands are all linked. Come on Disney, do some testing on your apps and teach your customer service reps how to do heir jobs properly. When your guests are at a Disney property, they want things to just work, not to stand in lines or wait on the phone for service.
