Description

A simple developer tool for creating the complete icon set from the 1024x1024 png picture file. The iconset folder is created on your hard drive. All you need to do is add the iconset folder to your Xcode project. Xcode 4.4 automatically validates and converts the iconset folder to an icns file. Then, in Xcode, it is required to enter the filename (Icon.icns) for the Icon file key located in Target Info Properties.

A complete icon set, required for the latest Xcode, consists of the following:

icon_16x16.png
icon_16x16@2x.png
icon_32x32.png
icon_32x32@2x.png
icon_128x128.png
icon_128x128@2x.png
icon_256x256.png
icon_256x256@2x.png
icon_512x512.png
icon_512x512@2x.png

Time saver

Does exactly what it says it does, for a Mac app. How about the ability to create an icon set for an iPhone / iPad app? I ended up purchasing "Icon Drop" which creates both Mac and iOS icons for the same price.
