Nigella Lawson is the author of many bestselling books including How to Eat, How to Be a Domestic Goddess, Nigella Express, Nigella Christmas, and Kitchen – which, together with her successful TV series (on BBC 2, Channel 4, as well as the American Food Network) and app, Nigella Quick Collection, have made hers a household name around the world. Nigella lives in London with her family.
This app is optimised for iPad 2 and iOS 5.1.1 and above.
Let's clear some things up here.
To the other user who claimed they deleted this app because it was "racist"...
The app name begins with "NIG" because the chefs name is NIGella Lawson. She is a wonderful chef from London as has several shows on both the Food Network and The Cooking Channel.
It would be so refreshing if people would base their statements on fact, rather than asinine lies.
The app is very good and I love her recipes!
PS - It would also be nice if people learned how to spell, form a proper sentence and punctuate it correctly.
A Lovely Ad
I'm a fan of Nigella from way back --she's the reason I bought a Mezzaluna many years ago but this app is not a recipe app like Nigella Quick Collection. Nigellissima is beautifully designed but its more of an intro to her latest book so I'm keeping it in my Apps library so I'll be notified of updates (hopefully MORE recipes and (save to) Favorites) but deleting it from my phone! I'll stick with Quick Collection!!!
I don't understand why these recipe apps don't allow printing...I don't always want to use my iPad and want a printed version. On this app, you have to continually scroll to see everything withing your selection. It's pretty but needs more recipes and ability to fav and print.
