What's New in Version 5.2.1
Stand behind your mobile app
My daily go-to film site, but the mobile app is horrible. Crashes out when you click into the article on IPhone 6plus 8.0.2. And something that has bothered me forever was that as you click through "latest news" after about 16-24hours back, you start reading articles from 2013 or 2012, WHY? How can you run a authoritative film site and not release an app that works? I'm embarrassed for Indiewire, I really am. If you wanted to charge me $5 for a working app, bring it on-I'm sure plenty of people not just myself would pay it.
Hey indiewire. Please stop sucking.
First review I've ever written about anything. Ever. Yes, this app is terrible. I guess the person who designed it never uses it or else he/she would know that its useless and constantly crashes. Tried going on safari and just using the website and that also is terrible. Food for thought: If you have a website with the word 'wire' in the title, you might want to be up to date on the cutting edge of current mobile technology. In fact not even the cutting edge, just make it work. The way wires work. By actually working. Wire. Work. Thanks.
I've been using this app for several months and it just doesn't work very well. The interface is alright, but the app frequently crashes and when ever you click on an article, it then updates the list to be relevant to that, which I don't find useful at all. Why would I want to see articles from a year ago? I just want to look at the lasted news and look at articles that are interesting, with out being punished for clicking on one of them.
