PRETTY COOL FOR STEVIE WONDER WANNABES
I'm a big fan of Big Fish Hidden Object games. This is a twist on the usual HOG fare. Great for beginners or if you just want a bit of mindless fun - which is not a bad thing after a hard day's work. But this game is NOT for the "faint of sight"! The graphics are authentic for old world art masterpieces - all faded and monochromic. However, you can actually go blind trying to see the required items. The great thing is that you can replay levels without the items changing places, although you might find one or two different ones the second (or third) time around. i dont care for the wasted time used up reading unnecessary dialogue between rounds. Or buying "furniture" for an empty room. What's that all about????! Also, a bit pricey at $4.99 - max price should be $2.99. Overall it's fun if you have 20/20 vision but don't care if you lose it playing this game. I'll wait until Big Fish has another 30 to 50% off sale to buy it.
I happened to like this game. I'm glad that I tried it for my self instead of relying on the reviews. I'm convinced that a good majority of these negative reviewers are negative people that are unhappy period & they love to vent their negativity for any audience they can find. That said, this game definitely gets more difficult after the trial version, which is good. I like the variety of finding objects & finding the difference. I would of liked more find the difference puzzles though. My only complaint so far is that the touch controls are not terribly sensitive & a good deal of the time I'm tapping more than once. I have yet to finish the game, so I do not know about the length. But from past reviews, more puzzles could only make it better.
P.S.; the reviewer who said that clues needed to be purchased must've been playing some other game cuz they are wrong!
Beware! Total Rip off, not even half a game.
It says 50 paintings, no way as there are only 25 scenes, that is not even half of what the game should be as there are even less paintings. What a rip off and what a money grubbing lack of integrity, outright lying and not a cheap game even at a sale price. ..You cannot say 50 paintings and give less than that. There are glaring lapses in the game as only 1 scene uses words for finding items, jerks. And that room (which is the developer's fault and not BF) has to be the ugliest room that I have ever seen. And lastly, what were the developers thinking to photoshop in such ridiculous objects on nice art work?
.. While the game could have been good, BF could publish (note I write publish not develop) a game showing paint drying and their most ardent fans would rave about the game. People frequently still do not realize that Big Fish Sells games and only develops 2 or so each year.
