Better than Things
I tried Things based on the great reviews. I ended up switching back to Todo Cloud for 3 key features:
1) ability to complete a task before its due date. Because sometimes you’re ahead of schedule! Strangely, Things doesn’t allow this.
2) ability to email checklists. This allows you to have a “recurring” checklist on an ad hoc basis. For example, you can create “Packing List” for all the things you always need to pack for trips. Every time a trip is coming up, re-import your list from email.
3) a web-based option with sync. Easier to enter long and detailed items in this than on your phone or iPad.
