What's New in Version 1.5.2
- Fixed an issue that prevented some users from launching the app
- Improvements to Sharing to Evernote
- Further fixes to Tweet Attribution
I have been using Pocket for a while now, and have compared it with many “similar” applications. Seriously, there are none that even come close. I use Evernote, and have found that the web clipper, Skitch and all the other companion apps just do not do the same kind of simple job of getting an articles and PDF’s onto all my devices (and thus into Evernote) as simply and elegantly as Pocket does. Whether it’s emailed, or something interesting you see on the internet, or even if you wish to use IFTTT to get certain updates on topics that you enjoy, you will see that Pocket gets it done. There are Pocket extentions that work as perfectly with Chrome as with Safari (and probably others), which makes my life so much easier. Once in Pocket, you can easily share articles, and much more. It’s a great application, and a must have for all!
This App my database!
This is the second time I am writing to appreciate the product. I am a heavy user of Pocket and love it. I have to save lots of material to read whenever I get more time and pocket has never failed me.
I have been using it for a while now on all my devices. It is great to save the articles you want to read later or use as reference. Save the link in the evening and read it when you have time. I prefer it over Evernote. With plugin in every iPad and iPhone and Adroid devices, things are much easier to manage. Recommend for all who can't get to everything rightaway, save them for future or when have more time to read. Never failed me. Would like to have a feature to email and share articles and links from the app itself.
Read a lot, in different places, and on mobile — this solved it.
It’s a really easy way to consume news, especially if your flow is like mine: see a ton of articles while browsing, especially some of the quality people I follow on Twitter, but don’t have time to read at that moment. I queue it up on Pocket, and since half the time I end up going to read it on my phone, it’s the best experience for it wherever I decide to read. Very few quality mobile sites. It also means you get a nice reading experience on your Mac, as you don’t have to wade through ads or page loads. The combo of sync and reading experience makes this a 5 star.
