Customer Reviews

love all the build-a-lot games

Such a great game. We need more. I'm giving it a 4-star because of a few issues in the challenge campaign. It's getting very annoyingly slow on the iPad (especially the last session). Also sometimes a painted house will not be counted as painted. You have to check each house to see if it allows you to paint it, not re-paint even if it appears to be painted. Some people say that some houses don't come up for re-sale again. I just think the game developers want you to buy those houses earlier in the session. Please include the option to STOP an action that you had in one of the previous game. I loved that feature. Well I hope you keep making these games, I will keep buying them.

One design flaw

This game is very much like the previous versions. I don't personally care for e added requirement of power stations, but other than that it plays great.

My main issue is a design flaw. It is often a good strategy to put houses up for sale that you don't intend to sell in order to buy other properties cheaper. Sometimes when you list a house an offer comes in just as you are about to unlist it. In previous versions of the game the "Accept" button appeared several spaces to the right of the "unlist" button. In this version it appears in almost the same spot. I have inadvertently sold houses I never intended to sell because of this. It is very frustrating. I hope they fix it on future versions.

This game should be awesome

But I agree with the two other reviews. I love the build a lot games, but this series is very glitchy, primarily the sound going in and out, the efficiency training not being as quick as the other versions, and some levels having houses that never come up for sale. I love the addition of the power generators, but it kind of makes the game more difficult. It's much harder to generate income and keep a steady supply of materials. I can't complete the current level I'm on because houses never go up for sale. Please fix the glitches and you'll have yourself an awesome game.
