‘The app is crammed with as much information as you’d find in a posh coffee table book – plus new art and audio-visual effects. . . If you’re a Discworld fan, it’s an immense thrill to zoom in and tap on locations like Pseudopolis Yard and the various guild buildings.’ – SFX Magazine

‘The app features a full street directory, a stunning level of detail, walking tours, and the opportunity to do busywork for shiftless Postmaster Moist von Lipwig, as well as a full soundscape. Yes, this app allows you to hear Ankh-Morpork. Luckily, it doesn’t make you smell it.’ - Tor.com
‘Think what would happen if one of your favorite fictional cities was given the Google Maps treatment. This is that.’ – AppAddict

Makes you want to read the books again, with this open
The first thing you notice is the detail. There's a lot of it. From the meticulously laid-out streets and buildings to the sounds of the city that change as you move around, this app brings you completely into Ankh-Morpork, apart from the smell (maybe in the next update).
Not only can you find every location mentioned in the books -- and many that were not -- you'll see many familiar faces wandering around the place. And, if you're the competitive sort, you can try to find them all and complete other tasks like mailing blind letters, finding the cow, and so forth. Thee might even be a Terry lookalike out there...
I'd like to see expansions of this later on (no Luggage?) but I found it well worth the money. There's a whole book and a whole city in here!
Re-awakens interest in Discworld.
I'm kind of picky about Terry's books, but do have my favorites and favorite characters. This app made me re-download several previous purchases to my Kindle to re-read. Anyone who thinks this fantastic map is dull, doesn't get Discworld to begin with. The retro stylized renderings of the buildngs and people, coupled with typical Discworld humor in the legends and guided tours, is primo.
A Must-have for any Discworld fan, but fun for all!
Obviously not a CMOT Dibbler product -- very slick interface. At first glance, very impressive.
[Edit] I love this app, but find that I'm spending all my free time glued to it. I hope there will be additional "accomplishments" added in the future (please, developers). It would also be great if users could place markers on the map. Just a thought :)
