Description

Humans, elves, dwarves, the Evils of the Earth-depths, and golems!
Different people, different tribes, different motives- all come together in this classic fantasy RPG!

The lands where the humans, elves and dwarves live continue to be attacked by hideous creatures that have appeared from the very bowels of the earth. The attacks are frequent and widespread, and the attackers commit the most terrible of atrocities.
These attackers have been dubbed the 'Evils of the Earth-depths'
One day, Granzalk Castle is the subject of an attack by the Evils of the Earth-depths.
In the midst of the fierce fighting, Ryle, a young apprentice swordsman whose parents were both killed in a previous attack by the Evils, and who vows revenge, finds himself in the underground chambers of the castle. In one of those chambers, he discovers a golem built to oppose the Evils.
And so the quest begins: Ryle takes the fate of the kingdom on his shoulders, and, along with Denoas, the golem built to oppose the Evils, sets off first to the village of the elves...

This is KEMCO's first brand-new RPG designed from the ground up especially for smartphones!
Don't miss the epic story that unfolds around Ryle and Denoas and the characters they encounter, each with their own intentions and motives!

Smoothly Animated Dynamic Battles
Smooth animation and dramatic voice effects bring the characters' battle scenes to life.
There are huge numbers of enemies trying to stop your progress. Some of them even have parts which are destroyed when they are damaged beyond a certain level. For example, an enemy might be clad in formidable armor to begin with, but if that armor is destroyed, the enemy's appearance changes and defense ability drops… but on the other hand, the enemy's movements might become swifter.
Don't ignore these changes- use them to alter the battle situation to your advantage!

Customize Weapons and Statuses!
The characters' weapons are each made up of parts, and by combining these parts, you can change attack strength, not to mention the magic and skills the characters can use.
What's more, by reinforcing weapons at a Weapon Shop, you can upgrade the weapons to be much more powerful than they originally were.
In addition, by assigning Merit Points on the Status screen, you can strengthen different statuses as you want- and you can adjust these statuses at any time.

Extremely Pleased

JRPGs in the App Store can be a hit or miss sometimes. I'm happy to say that this one is a definite Hit!

The story is interesting, characters are full of flavor, and the battles are paced, but not overbearing (playing "Hard" mode, which helps a lot in offering a challenge since I'm a big fan of JRPGs).

The artwork is impressive - especially the character and battle art. Though more animations to segregate different abilities would be nice, I'm still early into the game (have around 3-4 abilities for each character, so I haven't seen it all yet).

My favorite feature by far is the equipment/skill system. To learn a new skill, you equip a different weapon. This goes a long way in ensuring pacing - at certain parts of the story, more skills become available in the form of new weapons for your team. This reminds me of a more simple version of the Final Fantasy 9 skill learning system (all the complexity is removed, though - which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

There are also Heavier skills that need to be charged and may or may not involve a combination of characters (kind of like Chrono Trigger). So it's not just who is the most powerful, but you also need to consider which characters work the best together when deciding on your team.

All in all, I would really recommend checking this game out! It's got a bit of a retro feel when walking around, but also has a relatively polished battle system that I don't expect I'll get tired of :)

Brings me back

I've got to say, I really enjoy this game. It brings me back to my younger years. I was interested in the customization aspect of the game and the abilities attached to the parts. In future games, I would really like to see this expanded upon. Another GREAT aspect I super enjoy is the fact that the player can earn SOP points in game or buy them. The option is really refreshing vs almost all other apps that I've played in this same vein of games. I don't mind the grind to earn the points because it just lets me boost the characters at the same time. So, to the team behind this game, I would like to say thank you and keep up the good work. I'd really like to see other games in the future! Please continue to grow and better in this and I will continue to share this with my friends. You have a customer for some time if you keep producing games of this quality or better.

A small step forward for kemco

I think that this should be a model for any future kemco games. I was happy to see some detailed characters in battle as well as the bosses having an armor gauge, those were major pluses in my book. The story is a copy and paste from any other kemco title so I would love to see a fresh new story that really made you feel involved as you played. So far most of the battle animations are the exact same no matter what skill I use so hopefully that doesn't continue.
I would love to see the look of your weapons change in battle whenever you get new equipment. I also think you should just have one difficulty. Whatever happened to RPGs where you didn't get to choose your difficulty, you chose your strategy and maybe had to grind a bit to beat certain bosses?
Very cool weapon and skill system!
Keep working hard kemco, this was your best game so far and I can't wait till you create the one that will be the trend setter for RPGs on mobile. Don't let me down lol
