Everything I want in one app

For some reason somebody thought of a way to make a great app mediocre. In order to delete an email you have to either scroll all the way to the bottom of the email (a pain when some emails are very long with little or no new information) or you have to click on the box on the list to activate the trashcan. Either way, it is an extra annoying step that was added that takes my rating from five stars to three. IT IS THAT ANNOYING. The real shame is that this was THE BEST email app around. I will leave my original review for reference.
Other apps have a few features that I like, but this one has all of them in one app. I like having a trash can right on my email. I like being able to have my email fill the whole page, no matter what orientation I am using with my iPad. I like not having my emails truncated for whatever reason.
I had not used my Yahoo! Email for years. I read that they were going to start releasing the addresses of dormant accounts and thought, "Big deal. I don't use it anyway." When I got an email from Yahoo! telling me about the change and asking me to use the address if I wanted to keep it I was going to ignore it. Then I saw an ad for the app, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. I liked what I saw and spent much of the afternoon changing my email address with every company I could think of. I also had my email forwarded from my previous server, so I could change addresses as new mail arrives.

More Disappointment

And I am lowering my rating as this APP just gets worse and worse. I'm now finding that links in my emails are now opened in some Yahoo version of a browser (I'm not tech savvy) instead of taking me to Safari as my other links do. It kindly asks me if I want it to remember me, which I chose and it does....ONLY WHEN I HAVE THIS APP OPEN. If I close the app, I have to keep entering my user name and password to open links. I have checked all of my Yahoo and iPad settings to make sure I don't have something over-riding the remember me option. I've found nothing. This is the most ANNOYING thing to encounter. I want to scream every time it asks me to re-enter this. Why have the "remember me" feature if you just don't remember it?

Latest version is TERRIBLE. You have to scroll to the bottom of an email to delete or open it full size. I am getting the same email 3 and 4 times. I get notification of a new email and then it takes minutes to actually download into my inbox. Emails are showing as not sending from my outbox and they actually are sending, most people are getting several times. I'm using the latest version of Safari (8.0.3?) on my iPad Air. I've been using Yahoo for about 10 years, but this upgrade had me searching for another option this morning, I was so frustrated with it.

Too many bugs in the user interface

I am deleting this app.
The straw that broke this camel's back is that the To: line is not accessible...I can't get the cursor there to insert names when I want to forward an email. (Is there a specific method that works? I indicated I wanted to Forward, then deleted identifying info of previous sender, and found I'd lost access to the To: line. To make it worse, that sits directly beneath the Cancel button. I hit that by accident enough times that this camel's back broke.)
As I write this review, though, the text of what I am writing is not scrolling properly... So I wonder if this is Apple's fault, not Yahoo's. The iPad keyboard is blocking my view and I am having to type blindly.
On the other hand, the Yahoo app has other defects in the user interface, as others have pointed out below. Most notable is relocating the email Delete button at the very bottom of an email and requiring opening a menu to choose it. It's as if Yahoo wants us to scroll through the contents of emails in opposition to our desire to delete at will using a convenient trash can icon at the top. I'm not buying it.
