"Ansel and Clair Jurassic and Triassic are the equivalent of 10-15 hours of TED and Khan Academy lectures with a dozen or more YouTube videos and a trip to a natural history museum thrown in for good measure. There really isn't anything to which to compare these apps. It's like getting an entire album of music for the price of a single" - SMART APPS FOR KIDS
"Final app in their incredible dinosaur trilogy…has your child participating in exploratory play and loving it. Cognitive Kid definitely knows how to instill a love of lifelong learning!" - TEACHERSWITHAPPS
"I am a huge fan of these apps…I cannot be more enthusiastic about recommending this app for children and adults of any age who are interested in dinosaurs" - GIGGLE APPS
"Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of Ansel & Clair applications, and Jurassic Dinosaurs is no different" - iPAD FAN
The latest app titled “Ansel & Clair: Triassic Dinosaurs” is part of the dinosaur trilogy along with “Ansel & Clair: Cretaceous Dinosaurs” and “Ansel & Clair: Jurassic Dinosaurs”.
All three apps in the Dinosaur Trilogy begin with Ansel & Clair visiting a modern dinosaur dig site. Meet paleontologist Dr. Lindy Bones, learn about cool fossil tools and then dig for fossils from the Triassic period. Travel back in time to meet Triassic dinosaurs and other creatures learn a variety of different concepts and contextual subjects including science, geography, geology, and of course zoology, without even realizing it.
Spectacular interactions & animations, stunning visuals, puzzles & games bring the Triassic Dinosaurs and other Triassic animals to life
−Plateosaurus, one of the largest Triassic dinosaurs found so far
−Eudimorphodon, a flying reptile that belonged to the family of Pterosaurs
−Ammonites, squid-like water creatures that came in different shapes & sizes
−Coelophysis, small theropod dinosaurs that hunted in packs
−Eoraptor, which was mistakenly identified as the earliest ancestor of Tyrannosarus
−Eodromaeus, correctly identified to be the earliest ancestor of Tyrannosaurus (scientists made this change in 2011)
−Eozostrodon, which was one of the earliest mammals, but it laid eggs
−Eoraptor, one of the earliest ancestors of the giant Sauropods of the Jurassic
−Ichthyosaur, dolphin-like marine animal that was marime reptile that laid eggs
Science, history, geography and geology incorporated in a fun, contextual manner
−Why were there no date fruit in the Triassic or any fruit trees or flowers?
−Did you know why Ansel was so out of breath in the Triassic?
−Did the meat-eating dinosaurs hunt alone or in packs?
−How do scientist know whether a dinosaurs was a plant-eater or meat-eater’’’?
−Do all mammals give birth to live babies? Which ones lay eggs?
−Can reptiles fly?
−Why did only very few dinosaur actually become fossils?
−Why did the Triassic earth look nothing like the present day earth?
Children of all ages will have fun while learning. They will also be able to take photographs using Ansel’s camera and record them in the Travel Log. “Ansel & Clair: Triassic Dinosaurs” will provide children with hours of fun and educate them at the same time.

Triassic Dinosaurs completes our collection of the trilogy and needless to say, this newest app is as stellar as the others! My boys, 4&6, love dinosaurs and they love these apps. They thoroughly enjoy going on adventures with Ansel & Clair, for they make learning fun and engaging! A few of the many great features are the Create your Own Dinosaur activity, which both boys love, and a feature that is very much appreciated by me is the Parent's Section, which is packed with tips and information concerning the app. The educational, presentational and replay value of the Cognitive Kids apps are immeasurable. My eye will remain on this developer through the years for they have developed the best educational apps I've ever seen. We also have Ansel & Clair Adventures in Africa as well as Ansel & Clair: Paul Revere's Ride. The animations, interactions and overall quality is amazing. This treasured app has been an awesome addition to our educational digital library and I would HIGHLY recommend it,
As great as the other dinosaur apps from Ansel & Clair
My title says it all: if you loved their other dinosaur apps like my kids have, then you will love this one just as much. More great graphics, dialogue, music and voice acting. The games are also great and informative. Go check it out and support small independent developers!
Fantastic set of apps!
I am truly grateful to the makers for repeatedly coming up with such high quality apps. Their passion and effort in making outstanding educational apps shines through the entire series. My children are learning while having a great time. What more can a parent want?
