Changes my life.
As one who had a book in my car and constantly writing in it and doing the math with a calculator, this app is a piece of Heaven on earth. I sit down at the end of the day or at the end of the week and swipe my trips left or right, put in other expenses, classify visit a client to mail run. So easy then at the end of the month, I get a report and it's ready to go, all for 5.99 a month. Every employee is required to have the app and use it and I pay for it. Last year I saved an extra $3400 in mileage that employees didn't even know they could take. Sales people didn't know driving to a restaurant to meet a client for lunch was deductible. It's that amazing. I recommend this app for small business today. Don't wait. Pay for it for your employees. You will save a hundred times more than you spend and that don't even count time savings.
This app is dope!
So I drive a ton for work. I am a beer salesman. I live in Baltimore but work in DC everyday. Everyday I am hopping from bar to bar and the fact that I can use this app to track my mileage is fantastic. No longer do I have to write down and personally track my miles. I just now treat my miles like tinder just simply swiping left and right for personal versus business. I bought a brand new Subaru back in 2014 off the showroom floor and have already accumulated over 85,000 miles. If I could have more accurately tracked all them miles I'd be rolling in the money come tax season. Don't sleep on this app and just eat the $6 a month to be able to claim (in my case) over $10,000 a year on your taxes. MilesIQ you are a god send!
A very good app but...
I've found that it misses some drives. I use it for work and some of the locations I travel to that are close to my home are missing altogether from the mileage summary report. It will show me starting from the location going to another but it doesn't track me going TO the location. And when I travel back and forth making multiple trips to the same locations in the same day it skips those trips also. I rely on this app, probably too much given that flaw but otherwise it's a dynamite app. Definitely worth paying for.
