Avoid like the plague
If you're looking for a pay-to-win game that punishes skill and rewards luck, look no further.
If you're looking for a game that takes skill to master and doesn't constantly screw you over, look elsewhere.
The problem with this game begins with its card leveling system. Every time you play a card, that card levels up. You can then play those leveled cards in the higher rounds. The problem is, far too often, you are left with tons of unleveled cards that pop up during higher rounds.
So while your opponent is dropping a bunch of level three cards on you, you may be stuck with nothing but level one cards for several turns in a row, because what you draw is all a matter of luck. This has happened to me more times than I can count, and my deck is made up of primarily legendary cards.
There is nothing more frustrating been getting defeated by low-level players using common cards, all because the luck of the draw help them draw their higher-level cards in later stages of the game while I'm still mostly pulling level one cards in the fourth or fifth round.
They need to decrease the odds of drawing low-level cards in the later rounds. Otherwise, chance plays far too highly in a game that should be mostly about skill and the quality of your deck.
Until these glaring issues are addressed, the makers of this game will not see another cent from me, and I will be telling everyone who shows any interest in this game to avoid it like a leper.
Way to expensive to be competitive.
Such a missed opportunity. The game mechanics and art are great. It's going in a direction that could be great but the developers are just greedy. It has become a huge Pay-To-Win game. It didn't feel that was as much before they added a way to buy all your legendary(game winning) cards outright. Now there's a new game breakingly good card for sale almost every day. The prices they charge are astronomical. If you want 3 of said over the top super powerful card, it's somewhere around 40 dollars. This punishes good players who do well in the ranking system by pairing them up with over the top over powered decks. I've played for close to 2 months and have switched to Hearthstone because I don't feel like I'm being ripped off. Really sad because I loved this game but even having over 50 legendary cards, I can barely compete without buying more outright for over ten dollars a card.
Easily the best eCard game!!!
Besides the great rule breakdown that helps makes the game more fair and fun to play than Hearthstone, the customer support is incredibly responsive and helpful. Yes, it would be expensive to buy all the crazy cards that are possible but making your own decks and testing them out before you go online is a very helpful option to get more cards, tune decks, and home strategy. I haven't had this much fun since Magic: The Gathering in the 90s!!!!
