For a marine mammal, the hedgehog spends a disconcerting amount of time on land. What do they want, what are they up to?

Hedgehogs are troubled spirits, and yet, they never fail to entertain the masses with their acrobatic feats. Many people don't know, however, that hedgehogs aren't born this way. Hedgehogs need to be trained and molded into the tiny, fiscally responsible acrobats we know and love.

That's where you come in.

Train your hedgehog in more than 40 challenges and keep his cunning mind from veering. We will give you a sensible amount of ropes (11) and 6 special powers, like the ability to deploy a parachute, control the wind or summon a vortex. Your challenges will change with the nature of those powers.

So, crash those orbs as fast as you can, collect those stars and keep track of your performance with built-in stats. We will even let you tweak the rope physics, because we're not just accomplished scientists, we're also human.

You might encounter detailed animation along the way. But don't fall for it. It's designed to fool you into empathy.

What's New in Version 1.35

new: iPad support, iCloud syncing (iOS 6), small improvements, tiny bugs squashed
previously: much better tilt or touch controls, better guide

A very polished, but hard to understand game

I can see all the details the developer took care in creating - the transitions are seamless, the art direction is beautiful, and the core game mechanics are addictive. The problem for me, is I never quite know what I'm doing, the UI is very minimal, with little to no text - I'm all for discovery and user curiosity, but perhaps a little more hand holding is necessary, especially with concepts in menus - what your score means, how to unlock more ropes, are there more levels? The ingame tutorial is fine, that got me up and running in no-time (though the quick vs in-depth option I still don't get. And i kind of felt dumb for picking the 'wrong' option at first.)

My other critique is I want to be able to control where the rope gets thrown, it seems like there is a pattern to where it comes out from the spinning hedge hog, but it's never where I want it to. I'm sure that is suppose to be part of the charm, but I find it frustrating.

I do look forward to updates as this game evolves. I do think its special.

Unpredictable and unbalanced

Fun at first, but eventually I came to hate the unpredictability of rope orientation once you let go of a cloud. This makes it *very* hard to move around quickly, much less accurately. Someone watching me play asked, "Is that doing what you're telling it to do?" Not really, at least it often feels that way.

The worst is falling without spin so you have no chance to re-latch, thus hitting the ground which is also way over penalized. A close second is defaulting boost to latch while it recharges.

I love the concept and the look, and I really want to like this game. But I'd trade the flashy menu animations for more standard UI interactions, better usability in game, and a general feeling of control over my fate.

Lots of potential here and I hope to see improvements. As implemented now it's borderline unplayable. :/

I still dont get why are people having so much trouble controlling the little hedgehog. If you dont know how, go to the title screen, slide your finger from the settings icon upward and turn the "game guide" on. Is as simple as that. Even my 4 and 5 year old daughters learned how to play it by themselves. If there's one thing I learned from my gaming experience is that if you dont know how to play it, READ THE FREAKIN INSTRUCTIONS!!!

Well, enough talking about the stupid haters. The game itself is great. I love the mechanics you used and it's very pretty to look at and very appealing to the eye. My kids love this game. Hope to see more games from you man. Keep up the good work.
