Customer Reviews

This app reflects poorly on Thomson-Reuters

I'm an academic librarian with some background in usability and User Experience (UX), and this app feels like a beta or maybe even just a proof-of-concept.

For starters:

1.) Allow me to at least see (if not search) my EndNote Web library!

2.) In re the "Add Reference" function, where is reference type switching?! Looks like it's "journals only" if a user wants to add a reference via the app...

3.) Scan seems like a nice (even useful!) feature... but to make it DOI-only?! Why can't I scan a barcode on the back of the book and have it pull up the ISBN?

I'll be deleting this app off my phone, but not before griping to someone at the Thomson booth at ALA in a couple weeks... :-|

App freezes

On first downloading this app seemed to work, but over the past few weeks the app opens and then freezes without letting me do anything with it. I deleted it and tried to re-install, but it still doesn't work. Further there is no app for the iPad, which would be more useful with a keyboard to enter data to find references.

Come on, Thomson Reuters, you're big enough to put some more resources into this. I've been an EndNote user for many years - this would be a great addition to your repertoire if you could get this to work.

Was kicked out then can't log back in

When I first downloaded it, it worked fine. Then I tapped to open it and it's asking me to log back in. (I never logged off). It won't let me back in. And it tells me the "maximum number of requests per period has been exceed. Please try again later."
This is a huge bug. Please fix.
