“…an immensely satisfying title with all of the heart of a Pixar film and the interactivity of an old-school adventure game from the days of Sierra.”
--John Llewellyn Martin, ArcadeSushi
"You could search the iTunes app store for days and not come close to finding a game with the charm and polish of Big FishGames' Fetch. It's an animated movie come to life, an adventure riddled with arcade action wrapped around a warm beating heart. It's the story of a boy and his dog."

The art and production quality of this game are top notch, and are backed up by a clever interactive world with fun mini games. I have played many Big Fish games, and the "Drawn" series had been my favorite, but Fetch is the new king in my books.
I see many reviews say it is too short, and I can see what they're saying, I suppose (taking my time, my first playthrough was 2.5 hours), but the quality and entertainment value is well worth it for the price, and there is no filler, so every moment of those 2.5 hours was thoroughly enjoyed. Without spoiling anything, ill say that the museum section was one of the most clever and interesting segments I've seen in one of these types of adventure games.
Fetch is clever, fun, beautiful, and innovative. I could not recommend it more for dog lovers and adventure-game lovers of all ages.
Okay, a bit short, crashes a LOT on iPad 2
I can understand why the reviews on this are so positive, but I'm not as impressed, probably because this game is targeted towards a younger audience and I don't really qualify as such. The puzzles were a little haphazard and either too easy or weirdly hard (I am ashamed to admit I was temporarily stumped by a kid's game), and character control was a little messy (I'd tap slightly in one direction and the character would go so far out as to exit the screen). The game also crashed way too much on the iPad 2, and I'm confident it's not a problem on my side.
I also wasn't really emotionally moved by the dog companionship scenes (maybe I just am cold hearted). Lastly, I thought it was too short, but I guess it was worth the $0.99.
Awesome and unique
One of the better games I've played, and that includes full PC games. No HO, no shooting, and no ghosts, which makes it just about unique in the current game environment. Add to that intelligent puzzles, sweet and funny graphics, and a sweet an no-cliche plot, and you've got a real winner here.
The only thing I'd add is some sort of hint system; the puzzles require just enough lateral thinking that I've gotten stuck a couple times, and a gentle nudge in the right direction would have helped. It would also be nice to have a way to skip minigames, though I haven't really needed it yet.
Well done, Big Fish! I'd love to see more like this, if you can.
