PEER VIII: Physician’s Evaluation and Educational Review in Emergency Medicine, Volume 8, is the newest edition of the review and assessment tool used by tens of thousands of emergency physicians. The Pretest will establish your “baseline” score – how you might perform if you had to take your ABEM ConCert™ or qualifying exam right this minute.

· Practice answering all 450 questions

· See how your peers answered every question

· Study the in-depth answer explanations that cover correct and incorrect choices

· Find the content you want with a free text search function

· Find specific questions with the “Where’s that question about …” feature

· Customize your practice sessions by choosing questions by topic

The PEER VIII for iPad Post-Test is the culmination of your study efforts. It’s all 450 questions presented in random order to simulate the exam experience. Work through it at your own pace, taking advantage of the resume function that lets you pick up where you left off. When you reach the end, if you’ve scored at least 75% correct, you can submit your result to the ACEP CME Tracker and generate a certificate for up to 55 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. But even then, you’ll still be able to return to the Main Menu and continue practicing and studying.

Customer Reviews

Good questions, terrible app.

Questions are the same as the print version, but the app is terrible. The interface is hard to navigate and it lacks many of the useful features available on competing question banks. I think ACEP just relied on the reputation of the questions and not the quality of the product. You can't even do randomized questions from multiple categories into a test! There is also no way to track your progress. Overall if you want the questions it can be a good deal but it is by far the worst EM question app I've used. P.S. The iPhone version does not give you the full explanations.

Great study tool but...

They did a great job with adaptation of peer 8 but the omission of the explanations for peer 7 is inexcusable. I would have gladly paid $100 more to have the explanations and a more helpful question database.

Ipad one is good

I ripped apart the iPhone one but this one (ipad) is great. Love it. Doesn't crash, good long explanations. I appreciate this one.
