Nice concept, customer service nightmare
Other reviewers have posted similar bad experiences with the technical and support side. I had the same problem.
Wasn't able to sign into Facebook to pull pictures from there. I contacted KeepShot by Facebook and was emailed by Customer Support telling me to call them rather than handling it by email. I called and the support staff was, as other reviewers have stated, clueless. She didn't seem to know that the program was available by an app and was telling me that the software worked only on a Mac or a PC. I asked why there was an app. She said that it's not designed to log into Facebook. I told her I got the app from the App Store and that there is an option to log into FB in the app. She repeated that this is not an option and that she couldn't help me. I asked if I could be transferred to the person who sent the email, asking for him by name. She said she didn't know who that was and she couldn't transfer me to anyone else. I asked to speak with her supervisor. After waiting several minutes, I was told I was being transferred, and as instead sent into the ether (heard nothing but an error sound).
I just created one book with app. It turned out dazzling! This app a lot more useful and more functional than the mypublisher software for windows. The book I just published turned out father better than the one I did with the desktop software. The desktop software does gice proper guidance to how your text will end and i found a lot of text running along the page edges, etc. The only thing I would like to see more of in keepshop is more text features such as, left, right justifications, center, etc. It would also be nice to have more artwork to insert. This is a great app for making books and I am in the process of making another one right now.
I just created another book with this app. The book is 80 pages long. Uploaded in about 20 minutes.
I was really excited to use this app. I have been using mypublisher for few years now. However, I was disappointed when I realize that I cannot upload my project into the server. I have spent many days designing the book, with good selections of Background, patterns, Stickers that are lovely. When it comes to uploading the project I kept getting An error message. I have tried different days and time ( night vs morning) Hoping that it will be resolved. When I called the customer service, a guy named Thomas was really nice and said that somebody will fix the problem, that will take them a weekend At the latest. It hasn't been successful attempt for me. I also do not like that KeepShot not linked with my publisher, therefore, you have to create a new account and you cannot use your my publisher gift card to pay for your KeepShot project. I honestly expected more from mypublisher company. Its not definitely a ready yo use app.
