Owl - Learn something
By Dilip Patel
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Owl is a daily fact app that doesn't suck. The facts are actually interesting, it's beautifully designed, and simple.
The facts are handpicked from reddit and all credit goes to their awesome users.
Facts are front and center. To get the current day's fact, just pull to refresh. Done.
Sharing what you learned is easy. Tap and hold on a fact to share via Twitter or Facebook. You could also copy the fact or view the sources for it.
In settings, you can schedule when you want to receive, or if you want to receive, a daily notification. You can also switch between the light or dark theme.
Stop reading this and go read some amazing facts. You won't be disappointed :)

I enjoy the app. I'd give it 5 stars but there's one annoying issue I'd like to see fixed. The first time you open the app it shows you a tutorial. There is no way that I found to close the tutorial and use the actual app. When I did an update on my phone and my phone restarted I was able to use the app but by then I'd forgotten what the tutorial said so I went back to it and then again couldn't close it. I assume restarting my phone would fix the issue again.
It's really simple, and a great tool for whenever you're bored or just to impress your friends. I like it a lot because it's organized, but it would be better to add pictures. And, for improvement, add sections on the fact's genre, just to make it even more organized. It's an awesome app! Thanks!
This app is a really cool app. The layout and the design is simplistic and it gives the app an overall "smart" feel, especially since it gives you really cool trivial facts whenever you want them.
