What's New in Version 2.3.6
Good, but missing a few things
I really liked backyard monsters when I had easy access to a computer & internet, but I don't have that luxury anymore. I missed that Backyard Monsters when my internet went down, & I was holding on to the hope that maybe it'll come out for my phone. Now I have finally found it, but it seems to be a watered down version of one of my favorite games. For instance, where's my furry blue champion, Gorgo? That guy was close to being invincible when I had him at full strength, & I was so excited to see him again in this game, only to find out you kicked out half of the champions. This is only one major disappointment. I really hope that you will bring them back, along with pebbles, putty, getting shineys from mushrooms, other monsters, etc. I know you guys can do better than this. You guys were the first to come out with this idea, but you guys are neglecting key things that made this game better than all of the spoofs being made. Instead of being your own game, you're trying to follow in the spoofs footsteps. Please fix these soon, if at all.
Good game... but I like the original
I like the older version on the website called Kongregate but this version has its own charms. In the other version there were more monsters and champions but in this version you can control your champion and have active abilities. I look forward to seeing the development of this game further and hope to see that they add the other champions and monsters. (By the way the other version on Kongregate was removed)
I like it but...
I like this version of the game, but I don't like how you can't start off buying the third builder if you didn't use shiny during the tutorial, or that you can't get shiny from the mushrooms like the original. You can only buy them which is a major set back from the original. Really, this game is not that much fun, attack and destroying bases is way too easy, fortifying your silos and everything should come with the upgrades not it's own separate thing. Basically the only thing this version has from the Facebook version is the name.
