Play Spades with computer partner against two computer opponents. You have to make a bid and then take the number of tricks your and partner combined.
The first team who reach 500 points is the winner.
What's New in Version 1.7
iOS8 compatibility enhancements.
I must say that despite the slightly too flashy UI, I like the way it plays. However, two issues with the player's partner need to be addressed.
First is the constant underbidding. It will bid one and take as many tricks as it can, racking up bags like crazy. I found it necessary to overbid 1 or 2 tricks just to keep the bags from swamping the scoring. I realize that hands go not by rules, and can vary by logic, but I've played many versions of spades that were better. The game needs an aggressive level selector for bidding styles.
The second gripe is the partner leading a 2 or 3 card when the player goes nill. That is just not the way it's done. It inevitably causes -100 points.
And when the partner goes nil while holding the ace of spades, it makes you wonder.
Needs a few more options
Easy to play (the computer is timid). But there should be options to pass one card on the blind nil, or turn off sandbags. And the sensitivity could be a little finer for us large fingered individuals.
Game 5 stars Computer partner 3 stars
Love the game but the computer should
be a better partner and not waste trumps
meaning over trumping partner. I also
find it selfish, on no bids computer is
