Stretch is an innovative break reminder app. Nowadays people spend more time working or playing on Mac but they don't know or don't pay attention on danger that come from their behaviours. Human bodies need to move, not sit in front of Mac all day. Moreover, most of apps that try to fix this problem is always boring, totally formal, lack of interest to pull users to use. So we introduce Stretch, a new way to make people take a break and do some stretches with easy-to-follow and attractive user interfaces.

Stretch app is built from ideas of easy-to-use and attractiveness. We use our complex logic to calculate the break time and notify users to break with a modern, beautiful, and non-intrusive break reminder. The app will then show some stretches that were random among almost 40 stretches in every part of body. With our high quality video and description, it would be easy to follow the stretches.

Stretch app also contains the information on Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) and also a pack of guidelines to set up your workspace to have a good ergonomics. Moreover, the app can show statistics of using Mac including mouse clicks, keyboard types, and also the length of computer usage.

Perfect to get you out of sitting at your desk


I think this is a great product and idea. Customizable enough to work for anyone. The model is cute and friendly enough to make you want to stretch. I also use this to remind me to do other things away from my desk. I do not think the remind is intrusive. It is large enough to not ignore and the model coaxes you into stretching.

I do with they had some excersices that would strenthen your core. I think that would help a lot of people with back problems in conjunction with the proper way to sit at your desk.

The strech videos are short enough to keep you attention and are pleasent to watch. The stretching demostrations are focused on a desk work environment where you are using a chair. This is great because it’s not some random area like a gym or living room where the stretches take place in the demonstrations. These people really took the time to create these videos and put thought into it as if they were the end user instead of throwing a bunch of free domain or rushed crappy videos together into an app.

I am suprised that this app does not go for more.

I also wish they had a water intake reminder (maybe a paid add-on)

Great app for the desk bound


It is so easy to lose track of time when sitting behind a computer making it hard to remember to take a break—even though you know you should. With this app, you set the intervals between breaks and when it is time, the video appears. You can chose to participate in a short exercise or postpone a bit when the timing is not good at the moment. The exercises are very specific to people using a computer, that is, hand, neck, arm and back stretches as well as some standing leg, ankle and lower back exercises. Each session is short but effective. I’m very pleased and even grateful for this app. Kudos to the designers.

A break reminder app. So simple anyone could do it, right? Wrong. This is easily the best of these types of apps I've seen & used. At first, I thought it was a bit intrusive, but after taking seriously the need to give my physiology proper breaks during often 15-hour or more sessions, I've found this app to be CORRECT as well as useful. Thank you, Squid Melon. Really well done!
