What's New in Version 2.0.2
- Killed some server bugs like the Orkin man.
- Threw in an extra shot of espresso because you deserve it!
Others have mentioned the need for longer tracks that don’t have noticeable repeats. But why hasn’t this been updated for nearly two years? How about giving us access to the premium tracks from the website (for a price, of course).
I also don’t quite get the sound controls. It seems that if you click on the music tab you should be able to control the music volume, and if you click on the coffee cup, that should control the background noise volume. But it doesn’t seem to work correctly for me and I have problems tweaking the balance of sounds.
Good, but can be great with a couple improvements.
I love this app and would rate it five stars if there was better playback of the ambient sounds. Sometimes I notice when the loop starts up again. It's a subtle hiccup, but one that I notice when no music is playing. This momentarily breaks my concentration every time. Ideally, the ambient tracks would be longer to provide a more varied and realistic sound and would have a dissolve into itself with a longer duration when the loop restarts so it goes unnoticed.
That said, I think this app is good and could and may very well be a five star app after a necessary update.
please add new (longer) recordings
It's a great app and idea except that the loops are too short. After listening awhile I can pick out recurring noises, especially at high pitch. There is a girl who goes "yeah, yeah, yeah" about every three-or-four minutes...listen to morning murmur and you'll see what I'm talking about. please fix this...i'd pay to have a really good app like this, with a twenty minute or hourlong loop and no noticeable break when it repeats.
PS the "university" coffeeshop recording is unlistenable for me because of the "kerplunk" of what sounds like soda being bought from a soda machine which is rather close to the microphone.
