And most importantly, you’ll have more fun with your fitness activities!

Simple, easy to use, highly recommended
I surveyed a number of sports GPS apps, and the general theme is bloatware. All I want is a GPS tracker from which I can post maps of my canoe trip or bike ride onto Facebook - which I find to be a great motivation to get out there. Maybe take some pics and post these along the mapped route. Routie is clean, simple, and gets the job done without a fuss. No need to set up an account (the app does it itself for hosting data from your trips), no monthly subscriptions, no IAPs, no complex configuring or set-up.
Simple is good, and this app fits the bill.
Well designed app
Great app. Works well for tracking my runs. I like the history feature where you can swipe your finger along the speed or altitude time history bar to see where on your track you were at that time. Two things I wish the app had (hence 4 stars not 5): a way to display speed in minutes-per-mile instead of mph or kph, and a way to disable the app from asking about importing/exporting to photo roll. I find it annoying that when I want to check how far I ran, I need to click on recurring pop up windows asking me to import photos.
Turning to Routie every time I want track an activity now. Great graphs for fun review of my routes. Good pick list for various activities. Start it, it just works. Can take photos en route, they get pinned to course map. Like it better than Map My Run/Bike etc. Prefer it over WeatherRun. It works well with Pebble Watch; as soon as I hit 'start' on the Routie App, the data starts up on the watch, with no action required on my part. (Other than initial permission after download & set-up of Routie.)
