Ripoff, not update
Don't update if you have the older version! The bean counters at Lego were expecting their app to generate more revenue. Not enough users were buying the non-free features, so their update basically crippled the app. Corporate greed. They could not be content that having a decent companion app to the very popular Friends product line. A totally free app would generate interest in Lego sets my daughter doesn't have yet. It was the storytelling I liked as a parent. So now am going to search for a storytelling app. But I am not going to pay for an app that is basically an advertising platform for their product line. I already pay dearly every time I buy Lego sets.
It was great, but the update was not as great
I love this app! It's awesome and creative, but the newest update I got was really bad! The stories I made are still there, but I can't read them because it's glitchy! Then I tried to write a story I only got two people, and a couple baskets and an apple, I used to have lots more options for the things. I was really upset, so I hope the company changes it back!
Thanks for causing my child to have a meltdown!
My daughter was trying to use the app after the latest download and lost it because she couldn't do all the "story-making" that used to be available. So unfair to do this to kids, if you want to add new things and offer in app purchase that's fine, but don't take away what was already available. I would not suggest anyone buying this app until the company makes it right!
