Description

Todo - The ORIGINAL To-Do and Task List is the world's first, and one of the most popular, powerful, and award-winning to-do list and task manager iOS apps ever—now on Apple Watch! Todo is used by millions of individuals, families and teams for GETTING THINGS DONE. "Todo has stood the test of time" -Silicon Slopes.

Winner of the “Best Productivity App for iPad” (Best Apps Ever, To-Do Apps) and listed among the “Top Ten Paid Productivity Apps..."

"Appigo Todo oozes with awesomeness. I’ve tried numerous iOS task-management apps, and none to date have satisfied me as much as Todo.” –Macworld, 4.5 stars.

REQUIREMENTS: iOS 7. Refer to Todo 6 for iOS 4 - 6.

Four main reasons to consider Todo:

1. REAL PRODUCTIVITY. Unlike lightweight, freebie or cutesy list tools, Todo 7 is useful when you have a deadline, NEED to focus, prioritize and get things done quickly--from home or school projects to dozens of detailed work tasks.

Includes: Projects, Sub-tasks, Start Dates, Due Dates, Recurring Tasks (with detailed recurring options), Multiple Task Alerts, Overdue Tasks, Drag and Drop, Search, Print Lists, Folders, and much more.

2. PROVEN GTD METHODOLOGY. Todo uses the popular Getting Things Done approach with Focus To-do Lists, Starred Tasks, Multi-level Priorities, Quick Entry, Context, and Projects with Layered and Prioritized Sub-Tasks—all recommended GTD approaches.

3. BUILT-IN SYNCING. Sync automatically in the background with Microsoft Outlook, Dropbox, iCloud, Toodledo, Todo Cloud 7 and to-do apps installed on your other devices. Keep everything in sync and never be locked into a specific service—your data remains yours.

4. COOLNESS

-Geotagging. Reminds you of tasks when close to task location. This way you will remember the milk when you get near a grocery store.

-Contacts Integration. Link your task to a contact and call, text, or email "John" with one tap.

-Context. Organizes your task by activity or location (i.e. home, work, errands...) so you won’t be distracted with your “home” tasks while you are at work.

-Email Task Sharing. Share your tasks via email with your contacts. Keep everyone updated.

Subscribe to Todo Cloud (The KING of Collaborative To-Do App Services ) and get:

-Shared list, shared projects, assignments, comments, notes, multiple team support and email notifications.

-Add tasks with Siri, plus use email Task Creation (send email to add to your task list).

-Advanced Synchronization. Supports synchronization of EVERY Todo feature within the Todo Cloud service.

Subscribe once—use on ALL platforms for FREE. Unlike other to-do app services that charge extra on every platform, your subscription allows you to use Todo Cloud on all platforms (iOS, Mac, and Web) for no extra cost.

Two subscription options:

At $1.99 per month, or $19.99 per year, Todo Cloud is one of the most affordable collaboration services (others cost $10- $50 more per year, and some even require you to pay extra for every platform).

Customer Reviews

Tried them all, now back!

I used Todo for a couple of years when you had to use a sync agent for iCal. My eyes wandered to the newer and sexier apps being introduced ( Reminders, Things, Clearly, Todoist, Swipe to name a few) but these, while offering some really cool features, still lacked the flexibility I desired.
What I came to appreciate most was the flexibility of the repeat options Todo offers. If you have a penchant or need for repeating projects, lists, or tasks I recommend you give To do a good look.
So why only 4 stars. It's not perfect. One instance was a task that I had set an alert for one day decided to stop alerting. I submitted a ticket to Appigo and received a reply within one business day. They asked for a diagnostic log and provided instructions. I was informed that the log was sent to the developers for evaluation. in the meantime I fixed the errant alert by simply removing the time alert and re-creating it. it's working fine now.
I will add that I do use their cloud service. It seems much quicker and offers more features (for a fee.) The free to do-cloud account is quite capable if you do not need the advanced features. In fact I found the todo-cloud free account more reliable than Dropbox.
As I stated earlier, it's not perfect, but neither were any of the others I mentioned above. Look at them all and decide which suits your needs best. I chose Todo mainly for its recurring task capabilities.

Good application

I have used ToDo up to 2012 when it was getting old and several other programs were coming up with a better product. Clearly, the use of ToDo programs is quite varied. I have read multiple reviews and tried several of these programs. 1) Two things: all of these programs are good if you want something simple like make a grocery list. Anything will do for this; 2) careful with the prices and this is a complaint about ToDo. Yes youpay $4.99 but then when you try to synchronize you iOS products there is a request to ToDoCloud and now you are talking about a repeat charge every month or year. Do not purchase this. Use iCloud to synchronize as the ToDo Cloud is too costly for what they offer (sneaky!). This hidden price surprises are used in several other To Do programs (careful!). The new ToDo is quite useful. My tasks require a collection of tasks that can be way in the future (like two years from today I have to be in Uruguay for a conference). For me to know this is important when another request is make i.e. will a be available at that then? ToDo does an excellent job of data entry and organization of tasks. Another weakness of ToDo is the instructions that require a PhD to interpret and then you bettr figure it out yourself. I would highly recomend this product but it is quite complex as exxpected given its vast capabilities

As good as it gets for iPhone (no clouds)

I've been a todo-lists maniac for many years and this one does the job perfectly. The highlight feature I see is that you can make todos reoccurring every however many days/few days/weeks/months you want and have all lists with different colors for todos of different category or relation. You can then view all of them on a timeline together or just ones that have due dates for today and tomorrow or ones that you've started as more important or needing more time and preparation that others. Every aspect of every time of todo is covered.

As for compatibility and iCloud and stuff, I'm simply using it on its own on my iPhone 6+ and no problems. At one point I thought I lost all my todos, but that's because when you tap dates on the calendar in any todo list, it hides all todos except the ones on the highlighted dates even if you leave the list you're currently viewing and go to another one, so check that if it looks like everything suddenly disappeared.

Perfect app, armed with a ton of features and just not too many enough for my taste. Doesn't even need any real updates imo :)
