Customer Reviews

Notification Center widget is really great

The widget for this app is very amazing, however I do have a suggestion that could really improve the app overall (I don't even know if it's possible), but here's my idea. For users with 3D Touch is would be really cool if you could allow us to peek into our events/reminders from the Notification Center without opening the app (unless we pop into it of course). The app can sometimes seem slow to load certain things and also seems to have some lags when doing some things in the app, I wish that would be fixed. Overall it's a pretty good app but could use some minor improvements. You also have really good support pages for both the Mac and iOS version so definitely keep that up, that's hard to find in software these days.

The best calendar app I've used (PC or iPhone)

Seriously, though, it's amazing. Adding a new event by simply typing or saying "Lunch with Chris at the mall at noon on Friday" is the most brilliant feature ever, and Fantastical executes that feature almost flawlessly, even with weird repeat options like "every three days until the end of August."

The one thing I would improve is that I personally like my events to say "Library book due" in the title, but because of Fantastical's language programming words like "due" get removed from the title. So sometimes your events might be labeled a little weird depending on how you said it, which might require some manual editing. But overall this app is still the best calendar app I've ever used on a laptop/desktop or a mobile phone.

6s, iOS 9.x

The devs truly have outdone themselves with this PHENOMENAL update! I love the Notification Center widget & landscape view enhancements for iPhone 6 Plus (running iOS 8.x). Please keep up the great work.

Edit: Many of my appointments from a couple of months ago have disappeared with the latest update. My 5-star review is down to 1 until this problem is fixed. I hate to do this, but I hate losing valuable info regarding appointments much, much more.

Correction: My iTunes preferences were the cause of the "lost" data, not Fantastical. Thanks for the continued support, devs. My review now reflects the 5-star experience this app provides.
