Lots of Potential
This game is fantastic and has a whole lot of potential! I love the monster, sends chills up my spine when I see it. I think the monster should have distinctive sounds, maybe a scream every once in a while, make it so you can kind of locate where it is based on the sound. Also add some footsteps, maybe some kind of mushy sounds(schlsh schlsh) goo? The monster should be more lethal! When it sees you make it scream and throw its arms up and then after a second rush towards you until it hits a wall or another object (able to break barriers). The monster should have health, 7 hits? After it hits the wall it will follow you until it loses your scent (get out of sight) you then need to find different scrap metals to pierce the monster and kill it. Make the hotel floor look more like a hotel, 2 long hallways full of rooms, each room can connect with different types of holes in the walls (damaged walls). Follow through with the wall idea and make it so the monster (when charging at you) can break through walls and then stop. Finally Let the player be able to not only walk, but when holding forward far enough sprint and run out of breath (slender rising) I hope this helps.
OMG ITS LIKE OCULUS RIFT
When I first tried the app, I was doing the same "swipe to look and use the joystick to move" thing that almost all apps have. But then a little while after playing, I noticed that YOU CAN DO THE SAME THING WITH THIS APP AS THE OCULUS RIFT. I'm frikin serious, go o the app right now, put the screen up to your face and move the screen where you look. You may need to swipe the screen first before you do it, BUT IT REALLY DOES WORK. I really hope more games n the future have these same mechanics, and hope this guy makes more horror games just as good as this. But literally, this right now is the game with the coolest mechanics on my iPad right now. FRIKIN HERMAGERD.
Jeez that's freaky!!!
I never get scared watching horror films, but this game totally freaks me out on my iPad with headphones. It's so engaging playing using the gyroscope function. So there I am, playing for the first time, alone in the dark to help me get scared cuz that never happens, and I got totally blindsided by how scary it was! So I tried playing in a well-lit area with people and I'm turning around sharply like a crazy person, swearing and jumping around, totally freaking out! The camera motion just makes the game so much more like real life. I'm kind of afraid to pick it up again, but I know I will. I just have to calm down for a few days, haha!
