Tricycle is the leading independent voice of Buddhism in the West, presenting traditional Buddhist teachings and practices in ways that are keenly relevant to everyday life. Unaffiliated with any one lineage or school, Tricycle's nondogmatic approach brings together a global community of practitioners committed to the core Buddhist values of wisdom and compassion. With its innovative design, top-notch writing and transformative insights, Tricycle has been recognized with the prestigious Folio Award for Best Spiritual Magazine for three consecutive years and is also the winner of the 2013 Utne Media Award for Body/Spirit Coverage, the second time it has received this prestigious honor.

Tricycle is one of the best Buddhist Mags out there. Very well organized and written. However they designed their own app instead of going with Zinio or Pocket-mags. Their design is full of flaws. It reads vertically and as you scroll down the app will skip pages, return to the beginning, or overwrite one page over the other. It doesn’t open to last page read so you have to book mark. I called them they said they were working on it, since they are Buddhist I believe them. But my advice is to go to their website and purchase the mag + app it’s not expensive and you become a member with access to their excellent web site. I surely hope they fix it. But for now I definitely do not recommend it.
Getting Better but more is needed
I now only read the digital version. While you are able to create multiple bookmarks, it's not intuitive how to find them. I would also like it if the reader would remember where you stopped and bring you there on the next access. I encourage them to see what other apps do in this space to get better.
Just doesn't work
Neat way to test lovingkindness... Have an app for a great magazine then make sure it doesn't work. Collect the subscription money then ignore the complaints that are racking up in these reviews. The app hangs when trying to download issues. I've reinstalled it; I've restored it; it just doesn't work. Find some time to do your jobs and fix it.
