Bug fixes and performance improvements.
Used to be great
The app used to be great. They were actual legitimate offers and the payout was comparable to the total amount you needed to spend. Spend $100, earn $10. Spend $5, earn $.25. Those are comparable. However now, they payouts are soooo lopsided for what they want you spend. Now it's spend $100, earn $.25. Ridiculous. Also, they used to have offers that were a percentage of your total sale. Those have also disappeared. The places are completely random and often stores not even available in my city. I also think it's ridiculous that you can't upload receipts for mobile purchase. It's 2016 and so many places allow you to pay IN STORE through their app. But you can only take a picture of a paper receipt. Get with the times and make offers that are actually worth it.
What a joke.
So I download the app, check out the offers and see Taco Bell. I figure, what the hey, I could go for some Taco Bell, let's test this thing out. So I have to create an account - time consuming, then click the offer. Then I have to watch a MANDATORY ad just to SEE the offer! After I do all that, it's for 2% back. TWO percent. But I've come this far, so why not? I buy just under $8 worth of food, and snap a pic of my receipt. A day goes by anddddd... Nothing. Another day, nothing. On the third day, I contact them, and they say the offer was "limited to the 1st 1000 participants" or something like that. 😂😂😂 I seriously couldn't believe it. I went through like, a billion steps to try and save LITERALLY SIXTEEN CENTS, and they said I didn't qualify.
This app may be the most pathetic I've ever downloaded.
Worst app now, used to be decent
There's a reason that they now make you watch an ad before you can see the cash back offer. The cash back offers are pretty much all 1 or 2%. Whereas they used to be a quarter or more. They make money from making everyone watch the ad. It costs me more in electricity to charge my cell to take the picture of the receipt to get the 8 cents for the Starbucks offer. Not to mention all the time I wasted watching the ad, taking the pic and uploading their offer. All for 8 CENTS. Now they have made it nearly impossible to get to the $25 minimum to cash out. Terrible app, don't waste your time, there are good ones like Ebates, Ibotta, ReceiptPal, and mPoints for making money.
