What's New in Version 2.3.1
This update includes minor stability and performance improvements
Very Good Service
This is a great app with a few issues. I wish new music (for artists I follow) would be more prominently displayed. In fact a new music section would be great as it doesn't currently exist. Also when I'm offline and try to go to an offline playlist, it looks like it's trying to go online to display the playlist. Why? I have to wait for it to complete or I end up restarting the app. When music is playing you see a large overlay on the cover art. Great spot to quickly get to the pause button but it hides the cover art. When I quickly look at my screen to see what song is playing it takes a double take to actually see who it is. This may just be a personal preference but it is annoying. Really like that it's on my Apple TV.
Update #1: I've found that the interface is much buggier than I thought. When I'm on the train (not the subway) and my cell signal is low, I can't see anything when trying to browse music. It looks like it heavily relies on refreshing the interface via the web. This has been driving me nuts. Took a star off for that. Hopeful that an update fixes this.
The app itself is great, only a few small things need to improve (ie no beetles, come on apple).
Here's where they dropped the ball with me. I bought a Sonos speaker at Target back in October, it came with a $50 beats music gift card. I had pre-paid through iTunes until the end of November. Time to redeem my beats card. I follow the instructions, and it does not work. It tells me that I cannot redeem the card because I have an active beats subscription through iTunes, which I did not because it just expired. The message said to contact beats customer support, which I did on December 1st. They did not respond to me for 10 days! When they did, they simply told me to repeat the same steps I had already taken. After many emails over the next few days, I finally got my card redeemed December 16th. This is bad service, they didn't even offer me a free month for my massive headache! I mean, when Starbucks screws up your coffee, they give you a free voucher, when Taco Bell screws your order up, free cinnamon twists. But when your beats service lapses for 16 days through no fault of your own, NOTHING.
Anyone else or just me?
I ADORE this app. It's the best thing that has ever happened to music, but I have a suggestion... When I go to bed at night I listen to my playlist and I love it. But many of my favorite songs are in the middle of my playlist and then there are like 23 songs after. I don't want like 24 songs playing while I'm asleep. I don't want to change my playlist just to have my favorite song playing. If they had an option to select which song you want to start with, could be in the middle or beginning, and then select what song you have to end with so you don't have 23 other songs playing. That option would make this app complete to me! I feel like I'm the only one with that problem. Also if they had a timer like after 30 minutes the music would stop id enjoy that too. They NEED to add some kpop. I have to use other apps for my kpop obsession and I'd rather just use one app for it.
At least add exo, SHINee, bts, b.a.p and Big Bang pleaseeeeee!
