Escalation is a downward spiral.
A nuclear armageddon is no one’s dream scenario. So choose your steps carefully, it’s a small path between war and peace. FIRST STRIKE is a great strategy simulation featuring snappy gameplay and an intuitive interface that makes dropping the big one as easy as ABC. But be sure to take the right measures to guarantee your people’s safety.
Pick one of the big nuclear players – from known Superpowers to an upstart hellraiser like North Korea – and plan your strategy wisely: Limited but clever options let you as the leader of your superpower steer your nation’s fate: Expand to other countries, build bombs or debuild in order to restructure your arsenal. Or use research to widen your options, such as: Ability to act quicker and build bigger bombs, better recon on your enemies actions, automated self-defense-sequences and many more.
Whether you’re a bloodthirsty warmonger or a tree-hugging hippie – it’s time to put your cards on the table. A quick and fun game with beautiful graphics, FIRST STRIKE shows you how little it takes to heat things up. With the tip of your finger you can control the destiny of the precious and vulnerable rock floating through space, the rock we call mothership Earth.

Outstanding, but... No MP?
This is all I always asked for: a game that lets you take control of all superpowers of the world (USA, Brazil, Europe, Russia, China, etc.) and make them have a "free for all" style of war, with the right to access nuclear weapons. Thank you, devs, for making my dream come true. The gameplay is very simple, and within 10 minutes I could get the hang of it. I easily have more than 15 hours in it, which makes it the 2nd game I ever played on any mobile platform. It's definitely worth the price, so you can buy it without fear. And about crashes, I just experienced 1 or 2 on my play time, so don't worry about them. I wish you succes, devs. You surely deserve it.
Update: this game doesn't have multiplayer, which is almost sin. Once you know how to play the game becomes stupid, as the AI doesn't have any tactics. Another example: if you are full of rockets and have a huge territory, the your enemies don't make you their priority, continuing to nuke each other. It would be smarter to join forces to kill you and then continue to fight. Another cool feature apart from the multiplayer, would be social choice. Ex: if you nuke too many important cities, like NY, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, London, etc, the people is more likely to hate you, starting to make protests and outcries, which you will need to deal with without losing your control, by, for example, martial law.
GREAT game, worth the price
I've had this game for three years and I still actively play it. I still use the Tsar but the new super weapons are great (especially the satellite; to the infiltrators are more of a nuisance). For a few dollars it's worth it because you can play it over and over and retain the feeling of destroying the world. There are some little issues- sometimes it doesn't save achievements right away; it takes a few games. But this game is great at conveying its message about war. When the war begins, all the regions are pristine and the borders are clearly defined. But as the world is bombed out, it turns black and it's almost impossible to territories are whose anymore. When the war is over, the planet is a dark and burning mess. For another improvement, I'd have a domestic bar on your nation. The more enemy cities you destroy/missiles that hit your nation, the more distressed your citizens would be. If it reached a certain point, your country would have a revolution and you would lose. The bar would gradually go down, and could be toggled on and off. Overall, this game is definitely worth the cost and you won't be disappointed if you buy it!
Good Game but still needs a lot of work
The game overall is a blast. Each game takes about 30 minutes to an hour to complete, the mid-late game could get chaotic and messy though but still the game has a decent depth of strategy to it. You could build Missiles and defense systems, then use them against your enemy. You could also expand and conquer, and research new technology. The super weapons you could choose though are extremely unbalanced as the tsar and cobalt bomb could wipe out about half of a continent and leave you with a huge advantage and the others have minimal effect on the outcome of the game. The AI is lacking in my opinion in researching new technology, using a super weapon and only defends incoming missiles rarely. Another problem is you can't save your progress so you could play later or another day which means you have to dedicate an hour to play the game. This means you can't just flip out your phone and play it for like 10 minutes which is unfortunate. Multiplayer is desperately needed as First Strike 1.3 is built to be an online game due to the many nations to choose, amazing UI, and the sheer fun I could already imagine of defeating your friend by blowing them up with a tsar bomb.
