Visa 360 Cam
Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
Experience the Winter Olympic Games in a whole new way with this interactive 360° panoramic video from Visa.
Feel what it’s like to ski the giant slalom, or ski jump across a football field. Experience the thrill of the halfpipe. Dance across the ice or score a hockey goal — you’ll get closer to Team Visa athletes by getting “in their shoes” during training.
Move the camera a full 360 degrees using your device’s gyroscope, or swipe the screen to shift the focus — look up, down, behind and to the side of the athlete and see what he or she sees while training, and hear in their own words what goes through their mind as they train for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
Toggle between cameras to change the point of view, then cheer for the athletes by sharing to your social profiles.

Uh, cool idea?
Okay, so I got the app thinking that it was cool. It took like 20 minutes for the app to load from iTunes and then I finally got to use it. It was neat and exciting, I couldn't wait to use the 360 camera view. I only got to use it for like 2 seconds before it crashed. I tried it again and again until I realized that it just wouldn't work. Maybe it was just my iPod, but why get an app that you can't get on for more than two seconds?
Interesting technology, but ski-bunny drivel makes me want to stick a finger down my throat as I long for "...Agony of Defeat" kind of wow-footage of the 1980s
