Just finished and loved it
I just finished the game, with 20 levels I believe, this game is very addicting. It has a great story line to go along with it and incredible graphics. Each level has its own story and it very fun but I do warn you, each level does take a while to complete so if you're in a hurry and want to play a level really quick, then this isn't the game. Once you finish the game you unlock hardcore mode where you play as many levels as you can without dying and once you die, you're done. I do however have one suggestion. I would REALLY like to see more levels added to the game and of course with more stories. Maybe a new chapter of Leo's life after his gold was lost. Sorry if that was a spoiler for you lol. But seriously I really would like to have more levels to play and a new story line to be obsessed with. Maybe new characters that have their own story and you can have like 3 characters to play a bunch of levels with ( which I think would make this game even more fun and interesting than it is now). I rate this game a 10/10 but of course would like to see some additions made to it.
Doesn't quite live up to the hype
The art style is great, the levels designs are good but never wow you. The controls are great, but the overall feel is kind of loose and floaty. The character alternates between a fuzzy helium balloon and a heavy beanbag. The levels accomodate the platforming style very well, but it just isn't as satifying to float and plop through the levels, compared to more precise platforming. The difficulty is low to moderate throughout. It never gets hard, but there is some challenge to getting all three stars for each level and beating the bonus levels. At first, the story contributes to the charm, but even over the small number of levels, it seems to add up to less than it seems like it should. Don't get me wrong, it is still a fun, well-designed game, and I don't regret playing it. It's just that there are plenty of better platformers out there (the Rayman games, They Need to be Fed, Wind-up Knight).
FUN! Frustrating, but fun!
Let me start by saying I'm not a gamer. I love playing iOS games, but I'm not very good at it. So, when I read the reviews that say the controls are loose etc..I just raise an eyebrow. I feel that the looseness of the controls during gameplay are spot on. Simply because the cute character is in the water at lot--least at first. So, it makes sense that it feels fluid. I am definitely enjoying the game. Curious to see what happens as it goes on...as I'm only on Level 8. Oh--btw--I play with the sound off a lot. I discovered sheerly by accident that it pays to have at least one bar of volume. There are audio cues that give hints as to solving some of the puzzles. When you finally solve a particular puzzle that you've been stuck on for awhile, I find myself thinking, "Well, was that ALL? Is there something left to complete?" Leo will give a little "ah-ha!" if he's got. Sometimes--not all.
