Great concept with really awesome music to play to. The controls take a little getting used to, but for the most part, they're effective. Using a keyboard or a controller would definitely be easier though, especially in the second sequences and harder levels. Neither swipe nor tap controls yield a fast enough response to be able to pull off perfect combos. Kind of disappointing for a perfectionist like me, but I can deal with it for now.
-Add a noise when you miss a gate due to being too small. When you're too big and you crash, there's a noise. Add it for the inverse, for combo hoes like me.
-Make the tap controls customizable to certain areas of the screen, because right now they're a bit too close to each other.
-Add controller support.
-Add icons for each level as to what has been accomplished (e.g., 100% on first sequence, etc.)
-More Chipzel music! :)
It's a long shot, but it would be cool if you could have randomized levels based on your iTunes library. Guess that would be a whole 'nother game though.
You're welcome ;) haha
Finally after a long wait
I like rhythm game so much, and I've already sick to see all those tap tap rhythm game flooding on the App Store. So, when I knew SDM goes soft launching on NZ, I got pretty excited. Finally, after a long wait I can play this one and for a buck game without IAP, SDM is a must have for a rhythm lover.
The game reminds me with expander game. At first I think it'll have very similar gameplay except the graphic. Fortunately I was wrong. It's different, control works fluid. The difficulty ramps up pretty quickly and it's so challenging. The soundtrack is rock, glad to see Savant here. I wish you can add random endless mode in the future
Great fun with catchy music
This is a great game on which I do not regret spending money. I get a kinda retro feeling from the colors in this game which I think is really cool. Music in the game goes great with the retro theme. If you like «simple» games with vibrant colors and catchy music, then this game is for you.
