Time tracking seems like a simple problem… and it would be, if we were all robots. Unfortunately, humans tend to have a problem with
1. Forgetting to start and stop timers
2. Making mistakes without knowing it
3 . Feeling motivated to use boring business software
That stinks because our business depends on keeping track of time reliably and we couldn’t find a great solution. So over the past three years we crafted Hours, a time-tracker that folks will actually use.
• Smart reminders nag you at just the right times to start and stop your timers
• Start/stop/switch timers with one tap (even from the lock screen with the new iOS 8 widget).
• The visual timeline makes identifying and correcting mistakes a breeze.
• Rounding rules let you round time to whatever interval you are used to — 6 minutes, 15 minutes, and more.
• Calendar indicates visually how much time was tracked each day, making it easy to see which days you forgot to track.

What's New in Version 1.1.5
Squashed the Y2k15 bug that sometimes crashed the app when tapping reports. We've got a ton of awesome stuff in store for the new year so don't touch that dial!
A very green and well intentioned utility
There promise and potential but this app is a project. If you've used other time trackers you'll quickly discover a series of gaps that removes any sense of finding a solution in this instance.
Bottom line, this app is an ambitious work in progress, living in the wild at a fair price when considering AppStore description.
I was quick to sense the problems to happen when first stepping into the utilities, this is where a few settings are controlled. The likely thought, when you see the list of options, after you switch to your computer and open iTunes will be, "I better report a problem ASAP and HOPEFULLY get my money back."
If you happen to be an optimist, which unfortunately turned out to describe me in this case, you take a look a little further and see if the reviews you read actually happened to be genuine. Unfortunately, the pessimist won and I gave up; clearly duped by embedded advertisements or some other false impression describing Hours as a solution. Maybe I'll give the benefit of doubt to a few websites with summaries written by someone who most likely isn't positioned to understand how time reporting makes sense.
Don't buy this or get your money back. Maybe in a couple years this will be an app to consider once again. For now it just has high hopes and ambitious goals, sold more his promises that a product.
Convenient but needs some refinement
The convenience of this app is unmistakable. The widget in Notification Center is clean, simple, and effective. What this app lacks is custom reporting. It's easy to select a client and see te time spent with them, and easy to see total time spent during a month or a period for all clients, but it would be very useful to be able to export a report of time spent on a client where all the dates without logged work are removed (so if you spend one day a week on that client then the report will only show you those days worked and remove the other 6 days/week rather than show them in the report as present but empty). The current version makes for an unnecessarily spacious report. Also, it would be great to be able to archive clients that are no longer current so they could be viewed if needed but not listed in the active view.
This app is in my top 5 list
Time management for me used to involve a browser and a good memory. Being able to keep track of what I work on on my phone (which I always have with me) makes this a breeze, more accurate, and habitual. As a result I track more than my just my work life, I also track my personal time.
The report export feature is perfect for integrating the data. I find it easier to copy and paste from a csv file than piece together sticky notes and what I remember. I no longer carry the psychic weight of having to remember what I worked on.
