Great for iPhone editing - love the 4K editing & the manual control over ISO, the cool gesture controls, & the way it takes care automatically of how long you can make a video to share to a particular place (Instagram, Twitter, WeChat, etc.)
And NOW: iPhone as remote control for playlists on AppleTV!
AND FLOATING FISH! I don't know much about augmented reality but you have to try it. The iPhone is like a, I don't know, like Hololens or Magic Leap but actually just your iPhone. With your AppleTV. Try it. It's cool.
Great for my GoPros (HERO4 Session & HERO3+ Black). Always connects great. Let's me get a great edit up on Instagram in less than 30 seconds - and that's with picking a soundtrack & adding one of the best filters I've seen (I tend to go Shasta or Annapurna.)
Great with Apple Watch for preview recording & sharing to Facebook from GoPro - I've tried this one & the official app, and it shows that this one launched its first version way back when Apple Watch first came out. Lots more evolved in its details.
Great with my drone (old Phantom 2+ and the incredibleness that is the Inspire 1).

👊 again on latest to the great Apple Watch app - way more useful to be able to see how much time left on battery and SD card than what the official GoPro app shows (resolution & frame rate, which isn't changing info). SO PERFECT for when you're on slopes with the HERO4 on your helmet (especially if like me you tend to fumble your phone into the snow)
Won't be flying my Phantom 3 much now that the FAA registry makes name & addy public 😕 So THAT part of the app ain't gonna be v useful for awhile. Still cool though. That's drone life for you.
Been loving the way the app gives you control of playlists ON APPLE TVEEEEE! (Weird that there aren't more apps that do this yet,) In the 10app for AppleTV not ALL apps there, course.
And love that now you can record a selfie that INCLUDES the cool floating messages that appear over some of those AppleTV vids when you look at them through your IPhone - remember to turn on Bkuetooth on your phone (my friend refused the prompt and was all W???)

Hands down, this is the best! Nothing in its league. Completely blows the official GoPro app away too. Got the app because it makes it seamless to share video from my GoPro, but now frequently use it for my iPhone and also on my iPad. The editing tools are super powerful easy to use. Connects every time without fail. Love the filters, the tunes, and the slow-mo.
