CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME
Finding relationships online isn’t embarrassing anymore. Bumble has lifted the stigma of online dating by employing robust reporting and setting unprecedented standards for respectful behavior.
The app has also successfully shaken up traditional gender roles in heteronormative dating. On Bumble, ladies always talk first. Bumble is also the first of its kind to bring friend-finding to social networking. Now you can swipe through potential dates and friends on the same platform.
In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move and 24 hours to respond or the connection expires. Prompting conversation has lead Bumble to the highest post-match chat rate in the industry.
Bumble is free to download and use. We also offer an optional subscription package.

Riddled with Fake/Inactive Profiles
Bumble's algorithm so clearly front-loads the most desired (read: hottest) girls to the front of the queue every time I open the app, regardless of whether or not they're even active on the service anymore. I have seen several of my female friends who have been in relationships for 6 months or longer (and have confirmed they deleted the app long ago) as potential matches. What good does this do? I don't get on Bumble to look at hot girls, I use it to match and meet people. Also, I'm pretty sure a match has expired on me more than once because the person didn't log on and see the match—I know I'm not on every 24 hours. It's dumb to expect girls to be.
Finally, after having plenty of success on other apps, for some reason I have zero on this one. Seriously. It tells you now in advance if people have already liked you, and maybe 1 person every two weeks will have swiped right on me. I think there's an issue on Bumble with just getting your profile seen. Deleting this one as it serves no use to me whatsoever.
Not an app for serious dating
Bumble isn't the serious dating app it wants to present itself as. It's really not much different than Tinder in the sense that it's designed for casual encounters. More geared toward casual encounters than Tinder, if anything, since on Tinder you can actually put more about yourself on your profile.
If you're a guy, you'll need to be at least an 8, have a six figure income, and not have children, or else you're going to have a bad time and not really get any matches. The women really are that shallow, but generally if you do match with someone, they'll be all for getting in to bed with you much faster than the woman on other platforms such as Tinder. But for the love of God, men, use protection. You're not the first.
Don't waste your money on boosts. Save it all for other apps (even the lottery would likely be a better investment). Since there's no penalty, your best bet is to just swipe right on every single profile and only reply to women you're actually interested in. Women do this quite often as well, which is why your matches are expiring. Sadly, there's really no reason not to.
It's great if all you care about is a one night stand because of how easy it is to get the women in to bed, but if you want something with substance, you're just not going to find it on Bumble. If you find yourself struggling to meet anyone on here, don't worry, you're not missing much.
Honest opinion from a male
I feel like online dating is what you make of it. If you have a bad experience, you may have low standards or bad taste in others. I have high standards and found my ideal match on bumble. I honestly feel as if the bad reviews are just competitors or people with red flags already that are impatient. These types of things take time, treat a match like a delicate flower. Also set the right expectations from the beginning if they are looking for something serious or just fun. They should be honest with you. Bumble actually stands by what it represents. I really am thankful for downloading this app. Good luck!
