Useless except for reading

This is easily one of the worst apps I have ever wrestled with. I was so excited for this one and it is flat out awful. I haven't been able to comment on any groups for two days because every time I hit the comment button, the post button turns into an emoji button and doesn't switch back, so I have no way to actually post what I write. 50–75% of the time, I cannot back out of a post after I've hit the comment button and have to close the app out entirely and start all over. The notification numbers shown on each group in the group menu page are often wrong (it will say I have unread posts in the group when I don't).

If you are fine with just reading posts and not interacting with them (other than to "like" them) then you will probably be fine. But if you're hoping, like I was, to be able to engage more efficiently with your groups, then don't bother with this. It'll just stress you out.

FB Groups is broken crap

I was excited to use FB Groups because I was hoping it would let me focus on the highest quality interactions. But the app is so buggy and broken that half the time I just bounce out of it back into the regular app to do anything. If you try to reply to a comment it constantly wants to autopredict someone's name to tag, making it practically impossible to write a comment more than a line or two. The Groups get re-sorted randomly every other time I go into the app, so I have to waste time looking for the Group I want to check, instead of going right to where it was last time. And half the time when I try to open any videos etc, the app freezes with a black screen for like 45 seconds, locking my whole phone up. I'm going to stop using it until the next update, and if these things aren't fixed, I'll just delete.

Serious glitch!

Update: I can't type a paragraph in this app because the keyboard keeps closing. I have a totally updated iPhone 6. You guys just can't get this right.

Old Update (fixed now):

This is frustrating. Every time I move my cursor into the middle of a comment I'm typing, it turns on caps lock (using iPhone 6, fully updated). Not on the first letter, but every letter after that. So I have to type a letter, click caps off, letter, caps off, letter, caps off - the entire time until I move back to the bottom of the comment and continue typing there. It's a bit maddening.

Older review:

Much better than using FB app to manage groups. You get detailed info on new members - much more detail than you get from full site, mobile, or FB app. This gives you the exact date they joined FB instead of telling you "more than a month" etc.

You can ban members when you delete their comment, like on full FB site.

You can switch between your groups, manage members, get notifications, etc. Definitely has more helpful features than regular FB app.

I want to say that I'm also very happy that FB added comment replies to groups recently. (That's a comment on Groups, not this app.)

This app is also nice for accessing Groups as a member, even if you aren't an admin.
