simple app but still effective

i ordered many things from this app and so far... i have been receiving the products. Shipping speed varies but majority arrived early than estimated date. some items can be purchased at discount if purchasing same item with other buyers. Geek also offers additional discount depending on your level or if you didn't check out immediately and try to shop further. Though the search engine of the app for products is still in need of improvement, i still have fun browsing. the app does show some items based on my browsing history. i noticed it when my husband asked me to check some fishing items and the next time i browsed ... they added fishing items on the home section. what i learned from buying from this app is to really read the description of what product is being sold rather than rely on picture. i have not yet tested the applications or suppliers customer service as i have not yet encountered any issues on delivery or received defective product.
not sure if they can compete with amazon's great service when customer service is being contacted either via email or call. hopefully, geek customer service will also call us to resolve issues both with delivery & products and act as the middle man since most products are from other country where english may not be the main language. Geek: keep working on the improvement asap.


My favorite way to shop.

I downloaded this app a while ago. And like a lot of people I’ve never explored it. I have many apps in my IPhone. I got app happy and started downloading all kinds of free apps. A friend of mine brought up at a party how much he loves buying stuff from an app. He stated that over the years all the apps he has shopped from have been cheap products that came off as quality products. The products that he bought and received were just as described and he was very happy with every purchase he made. Everybody was asking what’s the app. I could not wait for him to tell me so I could download it. He said the app is Geek. I immediately went to the App Store I realized I already downloaded it but never explored it. I guess this is a downfall of a 256 gig phone. I have many apps like many people do and a lot of them I never took the time to explore them. I can tell you this. The app is one of my favorites. I do a lot of shopping online. Geek is blowing the other shopping apps out of the water. If you want awesome products at high quality and as described this is where you need to be. Just an awesome app. Not too many apps sell you the product you actually think you’re buying. I can tell you this app does. What you see is what you get it’s not a bait and switch. Go for it. You’re gonna love it.

Not as good as they let on to be

First, this app should NOT be rated for age 4+ due to them selling adult items that a child can easily access. I have ordered many items through this app since the beginning of the year. At the start, delivery was good and fairly quick compared to their time estimates. Now, three months later, items late on delivery are more and more frequent. I am currently waiting on an item due in January and keep being told to wait longer. I have had ONE item from an order arrive and the entire order would be marked as having been received after that ONE item was marked received with no way to change it. When contacting customer service about it, I was told to contact the local post office myself to see where it is. I am still waiting on an item that was marked as arrived after having received the REST of the order, but not it. It hasn’t shown up. All items are sent individually, so it is insanity trying to keep track of what items from an order have been received. Some items have been of good quality while others are defective. For one item, I had ordered PINK and they sent me BLACK! How do you mess up that? Thankfully, I was able to send a picture showing the wrong color and was refunded for that one. You are taking your chances on which you will get. The longer this goes, the less impressed I become with this operation.
